    We were celebrating my husband’s birthday and they were so thoughtful. There was a birthday card and confetti on our table when we were seated!! Food was absolutely delicious and our server, Patrick, was the absolute best!!

    We went for the generous pour event which we do almost every year at different locations. This time we tried Plano…big mistake. I’d now call the event the not so generous pour. Food was fine. Calamari excellent, my strip was good but my wife’s filet overcooked. This was the first time at Capital Grille that the wine stopped flowing after the six small samples and a few extra splashes. When I asked for more the waiter exclaimed that he was already more than generous and took my glass away. We felt like criminals. We asked the manager if we did anything wrong and he said no and started talking about TABC rules. This was after 6 small (less than 2 ox samples) of which we didn’t drink a few since we didn’t like and a few more splashes. Way different than our other generous pour experiences. Never again!!!!

    We have gone here for years as it is always excellent but it seems to have slipped on all accounts. Won’t go back

    The service and attentive staff were top notch. We can't say enough about the quality of service from top to bottom; very impressed. Atmosphere and overall quality were also excellent. This entire experience falls apart with the steak. The bone-in ribeye was not prime. Nowhere on the Capital Grille menu or website does it state 'Prime,' so I can only conclude that the fault was mine. The cut was substandard, the temperature was a miss, and it was sent back. What returned was then overcooked. We won't be back.

    Another great dining experience at The Capital Grille! The food, atmosphere, service especially Ivan were all superb!!

    We had an issue with my wife’s steak not being cooked to temperature. The manager and chef both visited us and apologized. It is pretty amazing to have the manager go out of his way to make it right, and he definitely did. We are customers for life.

    Another FANTASTIC meal at Capital Grille Plano TX!!! Marco did a great job serving our table and explaining the wines involved with The Generous Pour. As always, the food was spectacular.
