   A neighborhood gem! Veal was delicious and very reasonable. Liked the intimate feel of the restaurant definitely return again.

   Great food. Good service. Went there on Valentine's Day with wife and daughter and friend to celebrate her move to NYC. This is a hidden gem. Would definitely recommend.

   We have dined here many times over the years, and the menu and food quality are better than ever. The out of the way location must be the explanation for the scarcity of customers on a Friday night. We usually go after a movie at the local AMC, but this restaurant is worth a special trip. Highly recommended. Good value, too.

   dolchino has been in business for many years, a survivor in the restaurant wars. It is worth traveling to 2nd Ave. is this is one of the nicest high-quality restaurants that you can get a good meal under 30 bucks in New York. Thank you for surviving and thank you for continuing to be such a wonderful place especially to take visitors from out of town.

   The absolute most deplorable management I’ve ever seen. My review is on yelp. The owner/ manager accused me outright of starting a fight with a party when I was there previously. It was not me. He insisted. I left immediately. The food is mediocre at best, ambience nill and management atrocious. Went for convenience to movie theatre and always could get in. Now I know why despicable. Worst experience I ever had !!

    The food was OK - too much sauce on my pasta - but good portion. Service was courteous but overall experience wasn't that enjoyable - ambiance not great, waiter didn't tell us about the specials like they did to the table that got seated next to us, which was strange. With all the restaurants in NYC, I likely will not be returning.
