   Beautiful little restaurant in a lovely Victorian hotel in historic Spring Lake. The food was delicious, the service was outstanding, and the room was quite inviting to enjoying an intimate meal.

   WE had a lovely meal at Whispers. It has been several years since we have been there and it was better than we remembered. The food and service were excellent. We will be returning!

   Love Whispers! Have been at Whispers many times, for holidays or enjoying with friends or just with my husband. Have never had a bad meal here. The menu has something for everyone and there is no wrong choice. My husband and I were there for Easter and had filet mignon, which was excellent and served as ordered! The wait service is impeccable and with the kitchen, know how to serve dinner with time in between each course. This is one of our favorite restaurants but it is Expensive!… but you should at least try Whispers… and then you will be hooked on returning.

   Lovely dinner! everything we ordered at our table was delicious and beautifully presented in a timely manner. Great friendly service. We need to dine at Whispers more often!

   What a unique quiet and very romantic evening we hsd with unbelievable service. They made us feel like family and Celebrities at the same time. Whispers, will definitely be a part of our dining at least once a month and on very Special Occasions.

   The service is always great and the food is made well, however, the cost is extremely high. Whispers is very expensive, so just be prepared for that.

   Such a ridiculous,overrated restaurant, Maybe because its in Spring Lake ? Over priced poor portions, Looks good in pictures. We left there disappointed. Get what you get and don't get upset. The marinara sauce for the calamari was very good.

    ZERO CUSTOMER service, very unprofessional. The fire alarm went off 5 times during dinner, piercing and for prolonged periods in the beginning. followed by some guy who came in the room each time to advise some glitch no fire. This went on for most of our dinner time. This is a high end ($$$) restaurant and the 6 of us were trying to celebrate a 60th birthday but constantly interrupted by fire alarms, updates by this employee then fire department came, flashing lights coming in through windows, testing alarm. I realize this was a one off night but it absolutely ruined the evening, NO ONE apologized (until my aunt said something to the young guy at he reservation desk who said he would escalate it to management. NO ONE called me. I emailed the restaurant that night as this was an expensive (planned) and ruined (with noise and unprofessional bursts by employee and zero apology). This was over a month ago and NO ONE called or emailed in response. I sent is again and NO RESPONSE. The people at my table were from 4 different households. Never again. Im a local for 24 years, very very disappointed in how this was handled. I waited a month for a call and avoided social media, but due to your business’ apathy, here we are.
