The room was small with no soundproofing and dominated by a large group who talked at the top of their voice. It was literally impossible to have any kind of conversation at our table. One couple actually got up and left. My food was average but well presented. Our server also had a loud jarring voice but perishes a way to deal with the high noise level in the room. I will not be back.

Unfortunately this was not at all what we expected for Easter brunch and for the price we paid we were very disappointed. The restaurant/buffet area where the Easter brunch took place was extremely understaffed so we didn’t get our waters filled or put in drink orders until 25-30 minutes after we sat down. This was after we had started eating the buffet food (and were almost done). The buffet had not been restocked and we again waited over 15 minutes for certain items like maple syrup (to go with the French toast), ketchup and salt and pepper. The food was not great and felt like it had been sitting out. The ambience was not at all what was advertised as we thought it would be a nice Easter event. No music, no Easter bunny, and overall no decor or Easter decorations. For paying over $50 per person we did not feel we got our moneys worth overall and would not recommend to anyone.

It was lovely to be able to secure a reservation the day of and for a Saturday night. I had the salad which was ok and my friend had the salmon which she said was good. Reasonable prices for it being in uptown. Lovely that it is within walking distance of Blumenthal.

The Asbury was so good! Chong provided excellent service and made great recommendations. He was very knowledgeable on the menu. The atmosphere of this restaurant was very nice! It was smaller than I was expecting but still very cute. The food was incredible. I had the shrimp and grits and I was very impressed. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant.
