   I’m rating this 2 stars on a curve compared to other steak restaurants. I sat at the bar. Bartender was as slammed making drinks for tables and could not attend to me at all. Not a biggie but worth a note. I had the escargot which was good. The problem was with the wine and the steak. I had the Sommelier’s choice wine which was a grocery store bottle of Hahn Cabernet. It was horrible and I had to send it back. I tried to then order either of their 2 most expensive wines by glass and they were out of both. I was offered a cheap Beringer as their best alternative. This is unacceptable for a steakhouse, especially one that touts itself as a Wine Bar! I had the Prime New York strip medium rare. It was equally disappointing. No sear, otherwise cooked correctly but very grisly and chewy. A few bites I considered spitting out but kept telling myself it must be me. I’ve come here for years when in Orlando for work and sadly it has degraded from a hidden gem to a dud.

   The high cost of the meal did not equate to the quality of the food. We have ben going there for over 10 years for special occasions. That will be the last time we go. My wife's steak was over cooked and they had to make her a new one. My Seabass was just average. They padded the bill by $15.00 with stuff we didn't order. We called them out on it and they did make it right. It wasn't like they were busy. There was only 3 other tables sat. If you do go, just be sure to check your bill before you pay.

   The food was great, as always, I’ve been here many times before. However, my server Brianna did not bring Vines to its expected standards. I had ordered a tiki martini and was told 45 minutes later that they did not have the ingredients to make it - from the bartender herself. And I quote “ I don’t know why she didn’t let you guys know we couldn’t make it”. Mind you the bartender was very busy and still managed to come speak to us herself. A different server later came and asked if we needed anything else and I went for a basic old fashioned that I didn’t get until yet again, another 30 minutes later. We asked to close out right away because we were ready to go. She shows up with the tab with the martini on there that I never got, and clearly wasn’t communicated with or was acting clueless. I’m not against tipping a server what they deserve but when 18% is automatically applied it’s upsetting because it was not deserved this time around. Overall very disappointed in the service I received this evening.

   Vines Grille + Wine Bar exceeded all expectations! We had a phenomenal dining experience from start to finish. The food was outstanding — perfectly cooked steaks, fresh seafood, and delicious sides, all beautifully presented. The wine selection is one of the best in Orlando, with fantastic pairing recommendations from our server. The atmosphere was elegant yet comfortable, with live music that added the perfect touch to the evening. Service was top-notch — attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. Vines is the ideal spot for a special celebration or a memorable night out. We will absolutely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a true fine dining experience on Restaurant Row!

   Beautiful establishment with a modern chic vibe. Service was impeccable. Food was visually appealing and pleasing to the palate. I will be returning. Bonus: Cigar menu and hookah onsite.

   Plus is live music. Server was spread very thin. Big conference restaurant that impacts kitchen load. Steak Frites was excellent. Grilled Octopus app very good. Scallops a disappointment. .

    Service was congenial but quite slow. Bar drink orders were very slow, kitchen was only slightly better. Food was good, but why so slow on a Tuesday?
