We celebrated our anniversary at Blackbarn, and the staff made our night very special, while acknowledging our milestone with a subtle gesture, hitting just the right note. From front of house to bartender to wait staff to runners, the service was excellent - attentive without being invasive. I started out a bit disappointed that it appeared from a menu note as though the two of us would not be able to order any items from the prix fixe "Family Style" menu, but I am so glad we were allowed to do so, because the Big-Eye Tuna Tartare by itself made the whole visit more than worth it!

We have a reservation for brunch for 7 people at 1:30. At 1:22, although we were not all there yet and it still before our reservation time, we were told we had to order because they wanted to clear us out early for a party. We were celebrating a 60th birthday and didn't want to be rushed. When we said we wanted to wait until 1:30, until all guests were present we got an eye roll and a huge sigh and the waiter walked away. We were then moved to another room for brunch so that they could set up the first room for a party at 4pm! The server there seemed quite upset that not all of us were drinking alcohol and kept on making comments about it. As soon as we paid the check, in a very timely manner I would add, the manager came over and said, 'let's wrap this up people'. I have never been treated so poorly and made to feel as if my business did not matter. Super disappointing!

One of the best brunch places in the Midtown. Waiter Sarkan's service was above and beyond. Definitely panning to go there for the dinner.
