JoJo ofrece una experiencia gastronómica relajada y elegante en los dos pisos de una pintoresca casa de piedra rojiza de finales del siglo pasado en Upper East Side. We had a party of seven and we were given exceptional care and service. Our party has about five foot allergies and JoJo was able to accommodate every one. I had the best salmon I've ever had and the chicken was phenomenal. I can't wait to go back.

Beautiful space with classic ambience. Cocktails were good, but the mocktail fell flat. Appetizers were solid, but mains were shockingly salty — nearly inedible. The real disappointment was the service: no one checked in, and when we flagged the issue, there was zero follow-up. No server, no manager, just a bill dropped off with no acknowledgment. Disappointing experience for a Jean-Georges restaurant.

Food was fabulous (we had the steak, the duck breast, the crispy-skin baked chicken, and a burrata and a spicy tuna appetizer). Service was also excellent - friendly, efficient, attentive. The only problem was the heat - air conditioner too antiquated to deal with 90 degrees outside, and there is no place quiet enough to allow a 4-way conversation without shouting.

I have been there before but this time was a disappointment. It was the hottest day of the year, 100 degrees and their air conditioners broke down just about the time that we got there. They chose not to mention it and as we ate our meal it became extremely uncomfortable. Had we been told, we would have returned on another evening but I guess it was more important to them to make that last dollar. When I complained they offered us a glass of ice to make up for the problem. I’m serious. Somehow they believed that a glass of ice would make up for being uncomfortable in what is supposed to be a top rated restaurant.They said that the technician was already there which meant that they had to have called him before we got there. We watched as a party who came after us got up and left. Whether or not the food or service were good I’m totally unable to judge properly as the problem with the heat overwhelmed everything else.
