    Usually very pleased here. Last night took excessive time to acknowledge table once seated. Ordered App very good Ordered Wedge Salas and Black and Blue Ribeye. Never received salad and steak was just grilled no char on outside as should have been. Hopefully thy will improve.

    Some things never change. Ate at the original Mortons on Rush in Chicago in the early 80s and over the years have dined in many other Mortons. They continue to have high quality food and an excellent wine list. Some things never change.

    I went to Morton's to celebrate my mother's birthday, and the service was outstanding. They decorated the table, printed cards for her, and gave her a special dessert. Each and every staff member that we encountered was incredibly polite and jovial. Another thing that I greatly appreciated was the fact that a couple came in slightly out of dress code, and the hostess was polite about letting them know. The man accommodated the hostess's request to take his hat off, and they were seated. Dress codes are important, but since it was a holiday yesterday, Morton's was one of the few places open. That interaction, coupled with our personal experience, solidified Morton's as a wonderful establishment. Plus, the food was incredible. I can't wait to eat there again!!

    There were five of us that dined. Out of those three of us had some pretty good indigestion, which followed into not feeling well the next day. Personally, I got the tomahawk steak, and the crust was extremely burnt and bitter. The inside of the stake was cooked to the correct temperature, but had very little flavor.

    Our recent Father's Day dinner at Morton's Steakhouse, with a 5:15 PM reservation for four, unfortunately fell far short of the expected high-caliber experience. Upon arrival, we were seated promptly, but waited an unacceptable 30 minutes without any service. I eventually had to approach the host stand to get assistance. While we were offered a complimentary appetizer for the inconvenience, this initial lapse set a negative tone. The service issues continued after our food arrived. We had to wait another 10 minutes just to receive condiments. When our orders, including a Cajun ribeye and lamb chops, arrived, both were cooked completely well-done despite being ordered medium-well. The accompanying truffle fries were also cold. Once again, I had to seek out a hostess to request a manager, as our waiter was notably absent. The ribeye and lamb chops were recooked, but by this time, two members of our party had already finished their meals. Consequently, the re-cooked dishes were packed in to-go boxes. The issues didn't end there; the re-cooked ribeye was excessively salty, requiring me to rinse it before reheating. For a restaurant of Morton's reputation, one would expect a seamless and exceptional dining experience, especially on a special occasion like Father's Day. Our visit, however, was plagued with significant service delays and poorly executed dishes, leading to a totally dissatisfied experience as a patron.

    We visited Morton’s for Father’s Day expecting a special experience, but it fell short. The 22 oz steak came out looking as if a piece had already been cut off, which was disappointing in both presentation and portion. I had requested a special Father’s Day message—something Morton’s is known for—but all we received was a generic “Happy Father’s Day” with no personal touch. The manager did offer $20 off, which was appreciated, but unfortunately the meal and overall experience didn’t justify the $200+ bill. We’ve had better meals and service at much more reasonably priced restaurants like Texas Roadhouse. Disappointed, especially on such an important occasion.
