   As much as would like to go into details about this dining experience I can’t. I couldn’t even tell you what I ate as this food was absolutely amazing, beyond anything I’ve experienced. Yes, it’s surly expensive, but worth every penny.

   This omakase experience was worth it for a special occasion as the food was incredible and there were some creative dishes/flavors I hadn’t expected. We were also seated right at the bar where we could watch the chefs make each dish. So definitely something different and fun if you’re an adventurous eater! But it’s the most expensive omakase I’ve had. Actually, it’s the most expensive check I’ve ever had all around. So maybe it’s a bucket list item where one and done- not because I don’t want to go back, just that I can’t afford to.

   Not worth the price. Food and beverage pairing were excellent but the overall experience was poor. For $1200 (for 2) I shouldn't have to ask for more water, have a beverage pairing skipped, or have inconsistent service throughout the night. The plate presentation from the staff was terrible, half the time they just plopped the two dishes in front of us; I have food allergies and a couple of meals they switched up and had to go back to the kitchen. Ambiance was weird, the music was so random it didn't fit the vibe and the decor was quite bland. This is not "Michelin Star Worthy" as many have purported in the past, if you've ever been to one you'll know the difference. It's sad because I waited almost 6 months for this reservation but left disappointed.

   This is more than a meal, it is an experience. Be forewarned though, you must like sushi as most of your plates will be raw fish of some sort. Each course is a masterpiece and flavor combination all unto itself. Had a tough time deciding which dishes were the best but the hamachi, toro, and barracuda were amazing. Still, the wagyu beef was the best beef I’ve ever had in my life. If you truly know and love Japanese food, not an Americanized version of it at some faux Asian fusion place, then this might be the best meal of your life.

   Good one time experience, but for the price the food does not justify it. There are better omakase experiences in the boston area at significantly lower price points.
