Blue Dragon is Ming Tsai’s Asian gastropub in the heart of the Fort Point Channel and is about gathering and sharing. The menu features Ming’s signature East-West twist to classic pub fare. The tapas style menu (small plates) is designed to provide guests with a variety of options and flavor profiles. There are also a few chef inspired “Dinner Plates” that are served family style. Blue Dragon offers both a dine-in lunch menu as well as a to-go lunch menu. The dine-in lunch menu is more of an abbreviated dinner offering with a few additional lunch favorites. The lunch to-go option is an incredibly simple process that can be done through a quick call and pick up at the host stand. We are also on delivery platforms Caviar and Door Dash

Simply the food at my local Chinese American restaurant is better than Blue Dragon with much better value. Many of the dishes are fried/cooked and then topped with a salty sauce. When a frozen cookie/ice cream combo is the best part of dinner, it is a sad night out after paying more than $170. We wish we would have spent that money many more times at a place with greater value.

We went for Dine Out week and it was above and beyond what we expected! I’d heard great things about Blue Dragon, but the service was really fantastic, the food (both quantity and quality) was tremendous. Will definitely be going back!!

Went here on a Wed evening for Boston Restaurant Week. Service was extremely slow because there was only 1 server for about 8 tables. If you're going to participate in restaurant week you should probably staff more servers, she was great though! I wish I could remember her name. The food was very salty and I felt sick the entire next day. Also the music did not match the vibe. It has an asian modern bar theme but hip hop rap music. Not great for a Wed evening crowd of business professionals. Also the bathroom has a window in it that looks directly into the kitchen, why?!

The place was very noisy and the seating exceptionally uncomfortable. We were put into a high-top table without discussion. The drinks were good as was the food. The dandan noodles were outstanding, really fantastic, as were the brussels sprouts. The pickled vegetables were rubbery but the deviled eggs were nice. The fried chicken was desiccated. The dessert was chocolate chip cookie in a pan and, though fine, don't kid yourself -- in a blind taste test, you'd favor the version at Applebee's. So, if you're imagining that Blue Dragon is just Blue Ginger in Boston, erase this from your mind. Blue Ginger was remarkable from beginning to end, Blue Dragon is meh.
