Natsumi Breaks New Ground with Innovative Modern Japanese Cuisine. Barbara Matsumura founder of Haru Restaurants, has teamed up again with Chef Haru Konagaya to create this strikingly original destination. Two separate experiences in two adjacent sites, an elegant restaurant and a trendy Tokyo-chic bar/lounge. Natsumi specializes in modern Japanese cuisine with a touch of Italian ingredients; offering an array of creative dishes such as, sashimi arugula salad, new style yellowtail carpaccio, and lobster green tea ravioli. The innovative menu relies on unique preparations with dynamic flavors. The wine list is international, with white, red, sparkling wines, and champagne by the glass and bottle. The restaurant is divided into distinct dining areas, a cozy space with intimate booths, a sushi bar where diners can watch the chefs compose, and in the front, the windows open to the street. The whole room is infused with a warm golden glow and earth tones. We only seat compete parties.

This was such a wonderful dining experience. I can't wait to come back and share this place with other friends. Black Cod Miso was way delicious and the Shrimp and Vegetable Tempura was as well>. Looking forward to going back

Great dinner, great service. Not the fanciest place in town; tables are a bit small for for multiple sushi platters if more than 2 people are eating, but the servers were great at clearing empty plates to make more room. Will definitely be back

We’ve been to Natsumi several times and the food and service are consistently very good. The bento boxes are our “go to” but the sushi is also great. While it is a small restaurant, they know how to serve quickly without rushing so a good pre-theater choice.

High quality sushi. Nice lunch specials. Prices definitely have gone up quite a bit but given the area, you can’t do much better.

We were in town from Atlanta, and chose Nataumi for its location to the Gershwin, as we were seeing Wicked. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and were glad that we chose this quaint establishment.

Food was great and came out quickly. We ordered the wolf hall roll and spicy tuna, plus apps (edamame, veggie tempura and chicken and shrimp dumplings- dumplings were excellent!) The lycheetinis were soooo good!! Staff was friendly and very attentive. Would definitely recommend Natsumi for a date night, pre-show dinner, or just because. The prices were reasonable too.
