   The service was a bit haphazard. The staff needs a little polishing. The food has promise. The wine selection was above board. I think it would be a good place to grab something to eat before an event but I wouldn't go there again just for the food.

   Worst restaurant experience in years!! We never did figure out who our server was, 2 guys stopped and introduced themselves but were never available. We had to ask other people for help, ie sweetener for ice tea, twice each time. I had to ask twice for an ice tea refill, then he brought me half a glass. The food was marginal, fries were cold, fried Cornish hen was way overcooked and missing meat. Never checked on status. Had to wait 10 minutes for check and just as long for it to be rung in. First time I’ve left a $1. Tip . Worst one of the waiters ran after us and shouted down the hall that he was doing his best, only saw him once at end of meal to clear. If this sounds like a rant, it may be, but I seldom complain on line or web sites. The worst Is that multiple staff were standing around on their phones the whole time. If I have problem I tend to talk to manager privately. I know everyone had bad days. I won’t be back.

   I like the venue and variety of artists that play here. However, I will never dine here again. The service was very slow and the food wasn’t a all they great especially for the prices. Also, the menu needs more variety. I recommend the wine/cocktails and the concerts. Pass on the food here. Our wait staff were very friendly but the kitchen can’t keep up with guests dining in the restaurant and the guests attending concerts.

   With the exception of fries we had four or so dishes that took forever to get out. And the waitress was very inattentive so we had to ask other waiters to get things for us. The restaurant was not very busy, so I still don’t understand why there were so many delays.

   I've been to City Winery 6 times in 2019 for the excellent live entertainment they showcase. That said it is not a 5 or 4 star restaurant and with admission charges for decent seating expect to spend $200-$300 for an evening for 2. The service is friendly and professional and the menu is bistro wine bar style and mostly good to very good. The bottled wine list is a bit too pricey for what is listed. Bottom line, I plan to return to CW when I see a band or entertainment that makes it all worthwhile.

   Came here with some girlfriends for the night and had the best experience. We definitely plan on going back. Amazing.

   The service was extra slow, they were out of Cornish Hen at 8 pm which took the server 10 min to tell us. By the end 6 out of 8 ppl had a burger!! One of those was an impossible burger that came out 20 min after everyone else’s late food so she just took it home to go. This was my dad’s 73 bday celebration of which only he was happy and that was because his children came to celebrate his life. He said if he knew we were taking him for burgers we could have went to Burger King for the price of one ticket because I spent $35 for one glass of wine, cold fries and Luke warm medium burger that I requested to be Medium-Well.

   What disappointing service. We had made a reservation for 5 PM on Sunday and were one of 4 tables in the entire restaurant. The hostess awkwardly took our orders as she said the staff was busy getting ready for a concert. We saw 7-8 waiters and they did not seem busy at all. 15 minutes later I had to go to the bar and reorder my glass of wine and mom's sweet tea. We then asked a waitress who came over to double check that our food was actually placed. She never came back. 15 minutes later they come back to tell us the one thing we ordered was out of stock. We reiterated we had been there for 30 minutes and at this point were in a time crunch and needed something to be quick and asked for suggestions and to bring whatever was ready out. 5:40 still no sign of a waiter or waitress checking on us, no one offered to get us more drinks and no sign of food. I finally found the manager who was 0 help and I asked her to please go check on our food. She stood there and did not help at all. Finally one nice guy went and found our food but by this point we had to leave as we had tickets to the Fox. I've never walked out and not paid for food but the service was that atrocious and there was absolutely no crowd or reason it should have been. No apologies either.
