The waiter asked us for more tip money😂when he came to the table 2x ONLY! Now the busboy,I couldn't find him that's who was receiving my ti p. He was SUPERB!!👌🏾

The steaks were delicious, the sides were average (soggy truffle fries, bland Brussels), and the service was very slow. We saw our server, maybe twice during the entire meal. The food did come out quickly, but it took forever to get the check and pay, and we were never offered additional drinks etc. For the prices, the food and the service should have been way better than what we experienced.

Lobster and mashed potatoes were fantastic. Fettuccini bolognese was average at best. Definitely go for the lobster and leave the pasta for another restaurant.

We went to Frankie and Johnnie’s for a pre-theater dinner. The staff was very accommodating and had us in and out in about an hour. We skipped apps but had the main course and dessert and coffee. The steaks and baked potato were excellent. Steaks were done perfectly. The broccoli and asparagus weren’t great - they came out loaded with garlic and olive oil. The asparagus was soggy. I thought we were getting steamed because the menu just listed them as fresh broccoli and fresh asparagus. Ask the waiter how they are prepared next time.

That was the best veal chop I’ve had in 20 years. Highly recommend it. My wife had salmon. Large fillet and cooked perfectly. Service was excellent. I used to visit Frankie and Johnny’s in previous location years ago. The new location has a totally different vibe, but much quieter.

My friend, who's been a New Yorker for decades, recommended this restaurant, and it was excellent! The food was served at the perfect temperature, nice and hot, delicious flavors and cooked to perfection. The presentation was beautiful, the service was top-notch, and the ambiance was pleasant. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back!
