   We were seated promptly, but no waiter. Came to check on us and take an order for almost 15 minutes. We had to get a manager. The manager was amazing. He explained that they seated too many people at the same time but we had reservations. The people next to us got seated after we did and we waited on and served before we were. I may have ordered wrong, but the Arctic char was inedible. It is not an inexpensive restaurant and I will not be rushing back.

   It was our first time attending any legal sea food establishment. I was taken aback as I thought it would’ve been a little more formal dining than it actually was. The food was ok, not as impactful as I expected. I had the sea bass and unfortunately, it was very fishy. Tasted like seawater. My wife had the stuffed lobster tail and that was much better. Thank God it came with two tails so I was able to have one of the two. I honestly believe I would try another location based off of the amount of good reviews I heard and would like to give the benefit of the doubt.

   From previous reviews I was expecting a different ambiance. The muscles were excellent The lobster roll was very good

   When you’re next to the aquarium during school vacation week, expect lots of kids and lots of noise! Our table contributed to it. Our waiter was amazing - brought our tired 2 year old an applesauce pouch and made sure her food came out super quickly. The grains bowl with tuna wasn’t great. But the trout and the shrimp were wonderful!

    We always enjoy our dinners at Legal Seafoods, Long Wharf. We each had a generous fish meal, and the side dishes are also delicious. Our server, Charley, was excellent.
