   First of all, the chef came out and Introduced himself. How delightful! Food classic simple and unpretentious. Back room space is fabulous for private event or rainy weather or secret rendezvous. Bartender was on his game and servers obviously cared to give attentive service. Great Neighbohood spot I could visit every day. Thanks LaGrata team!

   We ate at Serafina Harlem twice during the week our daughter graduated from Columbia. We are from Los Angeles and have several food restrictions, including one no-salt diet and one vegetarian. Serafina was accommodating , with excellent pizza, salads, fish and the like. Excellent price-to-quality ratio. Staff is really nice, too!

   I have been to all Serafina locations. Was excited to learn that one open near me. Such a disappointment. Terrible service. The food was mediocre. This is a Serafina ripoff! Even the decor and atmosphere are so off! First and last!

   We made a reservation and even though we arrived 10-15 minutes late they held our reservation. We had two appetizers: one of them was good (crostini) and one not at all (the bruschettas). The main courses were ok and one of them, the meat, has no taste whatsoever. The service was ok but the waiters were rude at times.

   Food was tasty but room temperature. They MUST remedy this if they want to improve. Had a weird experience with an "opened" bottle of wine, they offered the last opened bottle for a reduced cost!! Never experienced that anywhere else. The service when the place was Sezz Medi was crappy and now service at Serafina remains crappy. Someone broke a glass item next to our table and I felt a shard hit my palm. Later that shard stuck my palm and I was afraid that we had shards somewhere else on the table. The staff did not seem particularly perturbed. So, good food, but cold, lack of appropriate behavior by staff, and lack of concern for customers. We may not go back for reasons other than the food.

   Great meal. The seating is not the best configuration and every time the door opens it freezes the guests in front. Otherwise great spot.

    Very slow service and mediocre food. Pizza was watery, friends salad was limp and lifeless. The servers were pleasant and friendly but slow and not attentive. Noise level is quite loud when the place is full but as it cleared out became quite manageable.I want to like this place so will give it another chance. .
