   Husband and I love Hudson house so decided to spend some money NYE at Brooke's new local restaurant. We were very impressed with the entire evening. Hostess was very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the Grain Bar our first hour. Husband loved the rye flights. Dinner was glorious our second hour. Lobster roll, beef cheek ragu pasta were a revelation. Such a beautiful evening. I dream of the lobster roll...

   Consistently terrific. Despite the crowds (PP is almost always very busy) and the hearty decibel levels, this place in remarkable for the quality and consistency from its kitchen team. Remains one of the westside’s outstanding venues.

   From the East Coast, in LA area for Thanksgiving, and following our penchant to check out Top Chef restaurants it was our first visit to Playa Provisions ~ an energetic space ~ a number of larger groups 6+ to a table probably helped contribute to the cacophony. But, it was fun. We were there in the later evening, so do not know if there is a view! We especially enjoyed the Lobster Rolls, and Salt Cod Chowder. The Patty Melt was huge. The server was having a little trouble coordinating when the food came out - our sides came pretty well after the entrees, and then we had to wait for 'the' serving spoon - for some reason he only brought one: The Roasted Cauliflower was OK; the potato Tostones - interesting - definitely dip them in the aioli; the Crab Mac-n-Cheese was delicious; and we don't know about the corn on the cob as the server never brought it. All in all an uneven experience, but the food was very good and once the crowd thinned out, it was a pleasant place to catch up with our relatives.

   We have watched Top Chef for years and since Brook Williamson opened up Playa Provisions - we had to give it a try! A little tricky for us to get there but once inside we were delighted! The menu may be a little daunting because so many fantastic choices! A great combination of seafood and so many other things! This has become a favorite instantly to visit every time we get back to CA. Very unique and playful in its approach to food and the overall dinning experience! Love it!

   There’s something SO special about this place. Something for everyone and can be romantic and family oriented and hip and cool all at once. It’s like going on vacation every time I’m there. Great menu and incredible service. A solid must for all.

   Delicious, great ambiance, and great spot for a walk by the beach before or afterwards. This place has my favorite breakfast sandwiches in Los Angeles.

    Very nice ambience and excellent food. We had the patty melt and fish tacos. Very friendly staff and overall delightful experience. Will be back.
