My husband and I dine at this particular Buckhead Life Group restaurant several times each year, and our experience last night was quite disappointing. While I know that Father's Day is a busy day and that restaurants will be hustling, this does not excuse the service/experience we had last night. We were a party of 8 adults who were celebrating Father's Day. Our party included my 2 85 year old parents. We were ushered to a back room which is probably used for private parties. It was on the backside of the bar area and was not in the main dining room. First of all, walking through the bar area was extremely dangerous for my parents as the floors were very wet, and my mom almost slipped twice. We were put in this back room where every other table had loud screaming children. Our table was right in front of an open kitchen door where we could see piles of dirty dishes and trash. While I try to assume the best in people, our waiter probably was stretched way too thin. We had to ask three times for bread, plates, and glasses to be put on the table (the table was only half set), the other tables with screaming children were receiving much better service (maybe to get them out quicker). The table beside us received bread three times before we got ours (and we were seated before them and had asked several times). Our glasses remained empty for at least 20-30 minutes, and even when we asked for refills, it took quite some time. No wait staff ever came around to refill. We had to ask them to take away dirty appetizer dishes. They forgot my son's appetizer altogether. It was extremely noisy in this room due to the children, and it was hard to carry on a conversation. Like I said, I expect it to be slower service on a busy night, but this was very disappointing for a $600 tab.

The last time we went to the Atlanta Fish Market, we had terrible service. We stayed away for about 2 years but decided to give it another try for Dad's Day. Being seated next to the waiter's station was not ideal but it was a busy day so ...okay and yet ironic. After being seated, we waited for more than ten minutes. No hello...no water...so we hailed down a fast moving waiter and water was served. The waiter apologized and took our order. We knew that bread is typically served and yet it never appeared so...we hailed the waiter who again apologized for forgetting and brought it to us. Shortly thereafter my food arrived (fish, a pesto potato thing, sauteed spinach)but my wife's salad and sushi roll did not. Was her order more complicated? I mean it was a salad. More than ten minutes went by and we pulled another random waiter and asked if someone could find our guy and get her food since mine was getting cooler. Oh, sorry and the waiter quickly headed for the service area and out came w/our food. The food was just fine. And yes, we waited patiently for the bill and...,you guessed it...we had to hail a random person to get our waiter who was clearly trying but.... We are hard pressed to think about returning after two negative experiences with service. Our recommendation...someone needs to be checking on tables to be sure things are okay because it is a big place and old folks like us may be overlooked.

We visited on Father's Day and it was very crowded. The food was excellent but the service was pretty slow. We enjoyed the crab cakes- they were very good with the mashed potatoes and green beans!

The food was delicious and the service was good. The only thing I felt the air was not working good. We could feel it blowing but very little .

It was Father's Day, and every table was filled the entire time we were there. They were obviously well prepared for the day. The food was outstanding as is normal.

Waited 40 minutes for our drinks and over an hour for appetizers, complimentary bread was stale and old. Entrees were good.
