   Our family visited on a Saturday at 4:30PM for an early dinner. Our party had 7 people, including 2 small children. Unfortunately, I can't say anything positive about our experience. It seemed like everything was in "slow motion." We waited forever for everything. Drinks and food arrived an extremely long time after we ordered. My pre-dinner drink and my daughter's dinner selection arrived after the rest of our family had finished their dinners. Some of the dinner selections arrived cold and the food was mediocre. Also, whenever we asked our server for something ( a high chair for my grandson, small plates for our appetizers, etc.) we had to repeat the requests several times after since we didn't get what we asked for. We've eaten at other restaurants at Mosaic District and have always been extremely pleased with their high quality in every area. Cyclone Anaya's was a huge disappointment.

   No beer on tap? Disappointing. Couldn’t split checks for 8 people—in any way. Hadn’t run into that before. We had to put everything on one card. Worked out but I definitely can’t recommend this place for groups. Food was fine. Bit pricey for what you get but it was filling at least. Don’t expect anything amazing from this place. It did the job for dinner but out of the restaurants in Mosaic, I wouldn’t come back here. Only reason we came was for the margs. If you need margs, they have em. And that’s about it.

   I had lunch with a couple of friend in September 2019 - all three of us liked it a lot. We ordered lunch-size salads. Both were a good size (larger would have been too much), and the ingredients were very fresh. The third guest ordered an enchilada which she said was very good. The staff were very friendly and available (there were very few guests at the time so I cannot say if that is still the case when the place is full). And, last but not least: the music was at a level that was just right; just for the ambiance but not too much to not be able to have a conversation. This is a big improvement from the last time I went there with my husband and we had to ask the manager to turn down the music twice (it felt like we were in a disco).

   Our service was pretty terrible. Our waitress was sweet and got our orders correct but it took a very long time to receive our drinks, have our order taken, and ultimately receive our food. The explanation for the delay was that the kitchen was backed up, but it didn’t seem busy at all. It took over an hour to receive our food and by the time we received it we were full from chips and salsa. We had to get up and flag down a waiter to ask for our check. Food was fine but utter lack of attention to service makes us not want to come back.

   The food was gross. The waiter spent the whole time watching tv and I would never go there again. We got sick later that night. Avoid this place

   We had excellent service, but the food wasn't terrific and the margarita I had was really bad. It was empty, which might have been a clue, but my friend and I both enjoy tex-mex, so we thought we'd try it. We won't be back.

   Waiter barely checked in and had to be flagged down for everything. We were on a lower level and the waiter passed our drinks over the railing so my friends had to pass them out instead of coming down a few steps to bring them to us.

   Extremely poor service. We were seated and waited 20 minutes for service. No refills on drinks, entire outdoor wait staff seemed disorganized, uninterested, and unengaged. Really, really poor service. Having lived in Texas, this is the WORST Anaya’s I have ever been to. You guys need to pick it up.

    Restaurant was only 1/3 full on a Saturday evening around 7:00 pm. Service was very slow. Margaritas were too sugary and had very little tequila. Food was average for Mexican, but Uncle Julio's is much better.
