We invite you to join us for a special evening of traditional Famiglia-style Italian dining as we welcome Chef Cristian back from his culinary expedition throughout Italy. This one-night-only event celebrates the rich flavors, traditions, and inspiration Chef Cristian has gathered from across the regions of Italy — brought to life in a vibrant, four-course shared dining experience. Your $85++ ticket includes a four-course prix-fixe menu served family style on our Second Story Terrace in the perfect "alfresco" setting! This experience will be communal-style dinning, overlooking Cincinnati's iconic Fountain Square! Two seatings are available: 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Guests are also invited to enjoy Cocktail Hour at our outdoor Piazza Bar, beginning 30 minutes prior to each seating. Please note that beverages during Cocktail Hour are not included in the ticket price. This experience will be a 4 course prix-fixe menu, therefore our kitchen will only be able to accommodate modifications for allergies and dietary restrictions. Please include any allergens, dietary, or mobility restrictions during the booking process, so we can provide you and your guests with the best exprience! Enjoy contemporary Italian dining from our full dinner menu, with a touch of culinary theater! The Chef's Table Experience seats a maximum of 5 guests. For parties of 2-3, you may be seated communally with another party. *This is not a tasting experience or pre-fixe menu. Our regular dinner menu is available when dining at this table.

Our server, Ryan, was amazing, and the restaurant provided us with a free dessert as a bonus because we were celebrating our mother. This was a wonderful gesture, since this celebration with my sisters and me was her first heavenly birthday.

Via Vite has a nice atmosphere right on Fountain Square. Our Waitress, Sarah, was attentive. We ordered Tagliatelle Bolognese, Chitarra Nero "Vongole", Maccheroni duck sugo, Mushroom Gratin "al forno", along with Caesar Salads, and drinks. The three of us were very underwhelmed by any of it. We were celebrating our son's birthday, and wish we had picked a different restaurant. The restaurant has been in that location for many years, so other people must like it better than we did.

Despite reservations made months in advance and a 5:15 time , only being a party of two, and very few diners, we had to wait to at hostess station for a table to be set up. Service was prompt but also rushed despite the non-busy time. We were very disappointed in the food quality—comparable to chain dining (Maggianos, Olive Garden) and not authentic Italian by any measure. The portion size of both salad and entree choices were very small and priced very high. The food was over cooked and overly/poorly seasoned We were very disappointed to say the least. We had made reservations for another establishment in Chef Cristian Pietoso’s group (Nicola’s) for a special occasion in November but the disappointment with Via Vite has led us to chose another local dining option. Perhaps an off night, but no second chance.

We have been eating Chief Cristian's food for over 20 years now and he never disappoints and continues to create new "can't wait to get it again" dishes.. Our meal last night was one of those. Th arancini, potato soufflé, seafood black pasta, and rice pudding dessert were exceptional. Service by Sara fell into the same class. The main dining room is comfortable and handsome. Highly recommended.
