About this restaurant

XUNTOS, "together" in Gallego, is a Tapas Bar from Chef Sandra Cordero in the heart of Downtown Santa Monica, serving small plates of things we want you to try: from the farmer's market around the corner to traditional dishes of Galicia, Asturias, Catalunya & the Basque Country, as they're eaten in Spain.

The wines follow the food: natural, fun & unrefined–joined at the bar with Spanish twists on classic cocktails, plus vermouths, sherries & cold cervezas.

Now open for lunch!! Tuesday-Saturday, 11-3pm.

A table will be reserved for your party to eat & drink while you wait for your fate to be dealt. Just 8 slots will be available from 7-9:30pm. Suggested donation $15pp. Taylor Ursula weaves together astrology, tarot, and hypnosis to create unique experiences of depth and self-awareness in her work. Her ability to hold divine space is grounded by her practice as a therapist, and she holds a deep curiosity for the human experience. She is the creator of PORTALS, a transcendental & disembodied tarot experience, and she creates magical ephemera and tools for naming and marking the path of our journeys. We had the most wonderful Wedding Anniversary celebration at Xuntos. The servers were well-informed about the food and drinks and were very warm and inviting. The food was very tasty and expertly prepared. We left feeling that we’d eaten very well and been embraced by a friendly and caring crew. A+ restaurant.

Always amazing! Thank you Chef Sandra, Scott and Jessica for a wonderful Wine Explorers evening. The food and wines were outstanding. It was nice to meet some new people as your events always draw the best. I enjoyed eating upstairs in the cozy terrace overlooking the beautiful restaurant.

Overall, I’d recommend Xuntos because the food was delicious. My partner & I ordered the tasting menu and enjoyed each dish that came out. I will say we were both starving and ready to eat when we arrived, but the tasting menu ended up being a little too much - they could have taken one or two tapas out and it would have been enough food for two people. That being said. We enjoyed not having to think about what to order, and the experience of being surprised by an assortment of dishes was fun! I also think it was a very reasonably priced tasting menu. Service was definitely lacking though… First, I booked a standard table online for a date night, and they tried to sit us at a high top in a busy section of the restaurant where a party was taking place instead of a perfectly good corner table upstairs and away from the ruckus. It took a long time to order our drinks, and even longer to receive them - true on the second round too. Maybe they were low staffed at the bar or the large party downstairs was adding too much to the service load? The staff were very pleasant and we ultimately had a nice evening (plus the food was worth it), but I definitely think the service could be a little bit faster and more attentive.

Absolutely horrible, some of the most flavourless dishes of my life. Couldn’t eat some of the dishes because of how flavourless they were, and their salad was so bitter, and the waitress did nothing but laugh about it. Don’t go here, there’s so many good places in Santa Monica

My niece and I went to Xuntos to celebrate her birthday. Everything about the restaurant was outstanding. Amazing food and wonderful service and ambiance. I’ll definitely go back.
