   I mace mixed reviews of this restaurant and here is why. We had a party of 3 and were seated in the middle of the room, despite the multiple tables available. There was a party of 8 seated at the table that seemed to be attached to ours. There is no AC so ,Aubrey that was a blessing in disguise, albeit a loud evening. And there were no guests sitting around the room, just the 9pf us. The warm to water was served then we were informed they were out of octopus (one of my son’s favorite appetizers) then anything with Brussels sprouts were not available, ahem, like half of their menu. We did end up having a delicious meal in this warm restaurant. The xxx pizza was a prearranged starter. I had the spaghetti squash, my son had the short ribs and my BF had the chicken, then shred the carrots for a veggie. We all loved the meals but the carrots had an odd, vinegar flavor which made them not very good. Maybe this is how they are supposed to taste but, to us, they seemed off. We would have loved to taste their desserts...but it was just too hot. Not sure of this place’s longevity with these issues.

   The service was terrible, no air conditioning, food was at best average. Small portions. No regard for our comfort. Everyone was sweating and we had to stand up and wave the server over for a drink. Not worth it at all

   Some of the reviews mentioned excessive noise, but I suspect that must have been around dinner time. For a weekday lunch it was definitely quiet enough to have an easy conversation with my colleague. I loved that they had brunch food on the lunch menu, and the sweet potato Hash was absolutely delicious. Service was relaxed, but friendly. Only weird thing was that Open Table sent me a confirming text. I replied to confirm, but when I showed up a few hours later, the restaurant told me my reservation had been canceled. Fortunately there were plenty of tables available, and I showed them the text confirming. But perhaps make sure that you confirm directly with the restaurant if you're concerned.

   Execution (food & service) did not align with their price points. That said, if you go, the octopus was tender and the mushrooms were delicious. All portions were very modest.

   We were a large group (15 people) and the whole Process was easy. I worked with George’s on a menu and they were super accommodating with all of our needs and dietary restrictions. Food was ok - I remember It being better. We were served everything family style and felt that the food on the prefix menu wasn’t really meant for sharing

    Chalk Point Kitchen is always ON POINT! Another fantastic dinner last night with a vibrant crowd---local and from other cool cities. Matt and Georges always ensure you have a super time and an incredible dining experience. The service is always excellent too, and, it's a great spot to transition from the upstairs dining deliciousness to the downstairs lounge fun. Very easy to make a night out of it!
