Went during Dine Out Boston week so the menu may have differed from the regular menu but it was all delicious!! My friend and I both had the lobster bisque which may be top 5 lobster bisque I've had at a restaurant. Lived the environment and planned to go back

Had a pleasant dinner! Beautiful space, not so comfy French cafe chairs (however, they do have banquet seating). Escargot appetizer was delicious. We ordered steak frites, dorado fish and sole. All were very good. Dessert was a nice touch as well, chocolate, marshmallow. It’s great they have a parking garage behind the restaurant, it’s only $5 with validation to park, what a bargain and another reason to go back.

The Bastille Kitchen is absolutely my new favorite spot! Chef Kendall and his staff rock! I’ve been swinging by weekly now for several months and I’ve never been disappointed. Last night was yet another excellent dining experience...from walking in the door and being greeted by hostess Andy, followed by attentive service by Anna and Phil. I tried the Dine Out Boston menu and thoroughly enjoyed Chef’s unbelievably delicious lobster bisque followed by the equally yummy green circle chicken. Already looking to my next visit next week!

Food was very good. Service top rate. Can be a bit noisy since it is an open space shared with bar.

Food and service were top tier. Portions are a little small for the price but to be expected at a French restaurant.

Food was very good. The service was good but missed the mark a few times ex: Bus woman didn't speak enough English to understand my question. 2) My wife's espresso was delivered 3-5 minutes before my desert = cold espresso. 3) the did not have a demi tasse spoon for the espresso. Nice place, nice staff. We will go back.

We made a reservation (and confirmed said reservation on the phone) for Valentine’s Day. We arrived on time for our 9:30pm reservation and they couldn’t find it. Thought I was someone else 3 times and then couldn’t seat us because they were “too busy”. They said we could sit in the lounge and still have the prix fixe menu so we did, reluctantly. We ordered pretty quickly after we sat down, so that was a plus I suppose. Two other couples that came in well after us were able to be pulled out of the lounge and sat at tables, so that sucked. 20 min went by and we still didn’t have our appetizers or drinks (they were out of my first choice of app btw). I don’t understand how you can’t honor a confirmed reservation because it’s too busy on a night where you expect it to be busy and then also, how do you run out of food on a night where you’re ONLY offering a prix fixe menu. Probably won’t be back, that experience really sucked.
