   Their salsa is the best at any restaurant. The rest is typical Tex mex. But very good.

   Not a place for brunch. In Orlando we have an expectation for brunch and this did not meet the mark. We were doing a birthday brunch and the mimosas were served a quarter of the way in a wine glass (not champagne flute). Not worth the money. Continually had to request refills on bloody Marys, and water. The food was good but it could be improved (flavor). Maybe it was just a bad day for the staff, and we went on an off day. With the variety that Orlando has to offer I'll go elsewhere next time.

   We had eaten at Chevy’s several times before it’s relocation. I’m extremely gluten intolerant. Our waitress spoken very poor English. She didn’t understand what we were asking. She finally got it correct. Then after we talked with the chef. A few minutes later the chef didn’t feel he could do any meals for me. So my hubby also canceled his meal. This took more than an hour. It was a horrible experience & we will not be back.

   In town for the holidays, got a tip that this was a good place to visit with family on Christmas (one of the few restaurants open on Christmas day). I walked in and there was plenty of seating visible, so I was surprised when the receptionist said they were very busy and could not accommodate my party of 4 without a reservation. After she sent me on my way and proceeded to help other patrons, I took to Open Table to make a reservation (for immediate seating mind you). The receptionist seemed perturbed that I made the reservation on the spot, but I was equally perturbed for having to go through the unnecessary exercise. She seated us, and shortly after someone came with chips and salsa. She was nice and pleasant, but turns out she was not our server....just "the busser" (her words, not mine). It was over 30 minutes of us waiting before I finally asked who our server was. The server came over and said they were having a problem in the kitchen; as if that was a reason for not even being addressed let alone offered drinks. She said they were unable to cook beans, rice, veggies, etc and that it could be another 30-45 minutes before things got back to normal. She then proceeded to provide us the option to wait or leave. We opted for the former and she seemed surprised. Come to find out she offered the option but really was hoping we'd leave so now was in the uncomfortable position to tell us the kitchen was closing in 30 minutes...so waiting really wasn't an option. The server did offer us chips and salsa to go but that was very little consolation for the bad experience and wasted time. I don't know if the kitchen issue arose after we sat down, or if it was the reason the receptionist was hesitant to seat us in the first place. If the latter, she should have been forthcoming with that info rather than trying to convince me that they were too busy despite my seeing a half-empty restaurant. In any case, and for several reasons, not a very good experience.

   Server took forever to greet our table. Then, she stated another table ordered food a hour ago and still haven’t got their food. She suggested it will be a waste of our time to order food because it will take forever. The restuarant was closing within 30 mins so that might have been her way of getting out on time. She suggested we not order food and offer us just drinks.

   Extremely disappointing. Had a Rez on Christmas Day with 15 people. Sat at 7 and by 8:45 all we had were drinks and chips. They told us they ran out of rice, beans and steak!How does a Mexican restaurant with guaranteed reservations run out of rice and beans??!!! We ordered table side guac and at 8:45 they brought us some cups of premade tasteless guac. We waited for 2 hours and other people Were served that walked in after us. They kept apologizing and by 9 pm we all got up and left because they said that our orders were still in line to be made. Not acceptable. Will Not be going back.

    Server seemed to have a lack of knowledge. We were told they were out of rice and beans for 30 minutes so we were given other choices and then we didn’t get what we picked. We split the check with others and we’re charged double.
