With a dynamic kitchen led by Seth Turiansky, overseen by our esteemed Executive Chef Suzette Gresham and an innovative cocktail program highlighting many of the unique spirits of Italy, Sorella is an exciting addition to the Bay Area culinary scene. One of the best meals I’ve had in San Francisco. Everything we had was delicious and very well seasoned. The hanger steak was cooked to perfection and the mafaldine was super savory. Will be back again soon!

I always walk by Sorella, so I finally decided to give it a try and made a reservation. I was excited to check it out. Unfortunately, when I arrived, the table wasn’t ready on time, and there was a short wait. However, the manager personally apologized for the delay, and our waitress kindly offered a complimentary appetizer, which was greatly appreciated. It really showed that they go above and beyond to ensure guests feel well taken care of. The staff overall was very friendly and professional, and the service throughout the evening was solid. I also really enjoyed the wine selection—it was thoughtfully curated and paired nicely with the atmosphere. That said, I personally didn’t find the food to be worth the price, considering the flavor and portion sizes. Sorella is definitely a fun spot, but it’s not somewhere I’d be likely to revisit on my own.

My first time here, I was hoping for an exceptional experience and I love top tier pasta like flour and water and spqr so along those lines. I will say this delivered. Everything from the sourdough bread to start, the perfectly made Quintessential cocktail, incredible oysters (some of the best I’ve had in some time) were perfect. I had the porcini and egg Fagottelli and my partner had the gnocchi and both were exceptional. We also had the roasted carrots as a side and I will tell you you’ve never had carrots like this. Amazing. Highly recommend this place.
