   Our experience at Asiago was memorable for its mediocrity. In its favor I add that it is a very nice restaurant and gives the illusion that you're gonna be wowed by the fare. This was not the case at all. Our server had virtually no knowledge of the menu, the drink selection and disappeared regularly without checking on our table even periodically . We had to send out a search team to find him. The menu sort of suggests that there are authentic Tuscan chefs in the kitchen waiting with bated breath to prepare our meal . Not the case at all. When our meals arrived, only three out of four came out and everybody knows how annoying that is. The fourth dinner arrived about eight to ten minutes later after the first three had plenty of time to cool down. No explanation and the disappearing server, nowhere to be found . The portions were incredibly large suggesting that we were getting a huge bang for our buck when in fact it was just mediocre, heavy and unappealing . We have no intention of returning.

   Very traditional Italian menu, my wife had the Swordfish special and loved it. Had a good dinner and would come back again next time we are in Pittsburgh.

   Nice atmosphere and location, food quality and portions were good, service is fast and friendly, overall a nice restaurant that I'd return to but a bit pricey in my opinion.

   Went expecting a brunch seating as shown on their website to find they do not do a Sunday brunch. One members of our party ordered eggplant parmigian and the egg plant was burnt and had a burnt taste throughout. I guess there was a reason it was easy to get a reservation for mother's day.

   As the other reviews on here indicate, the food was very good but the service was not. We had a two hour dinner and not by our choice. The waitress took so long to get our drink orders that we ordered drinks, apps and dinner all at once. And we were still there for over 2 hours. The waitress was not attentive, short with us and forgetful. Thankfully the food was good and we didn't have anywhere else to be.

   Great food. Loved the pizza rolls! Penne was delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. Sat near a vent which was like a hurricane.

   Calamari had way too much breading on it and was too salty. We were still working on our appetizer when our entree came out which was odd.

    Our waitress was very friendly and quick. Meals were timely, we didn't wait for a Friday night. Food was very good, we didn't wait for food, or drinks, we didn't have to ask our server was excellent. Went back to bar on Saturday and our bartender was great and friendly!
