Single BarrelGreat nightI choice this spot to dine with out corporate office in from out of town. Everyone enjoyed the great food and jazz band. Restaurant Week gave us the opportunity. The food was overall excellent in quality and presentation. The only slight flaw was in brussels sprouts that were a bit tough. The steak was perfect - tender, cooked exactly to order, and flavorful. We got a very good bottle of wine at a good price as a happy hour special. Their whiskey list was almost as extensive as the wine list.
The downside for us was the ambiance - a large open room with minimal decor. This is OK for their later-evening venue for live country music and dancing, but not really good for a romantic dinner.

We were visiting Lincoln after living in Fort Worth for a few months & wanted to try somewhere new with friends. We made a last minute reservation late on a Tuesday. They had live jazz & a wine special that night. Decent wine menu and a great list of any type of whiskey you'd like. Service was great, food was amazing (I had a hand-made pasta, other friends tried fish & steak and everyone was impressed). The general feeling was everything was good, a couple items were very good, but nothing was outstanding. However, would love to go back and try more dishes, as the menu had a nice variety.
The service was very good. Wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable.
I would describe the atmosphere as "pleasant." Nothing special stood out to me, but nothing to complain about either. The food takes a bit longer to come out for larger groups, but just have another drink off their whiskey list and you'll be good :) I love the push for local ingredients and applaud their efforts to make it happen. She was very informative and helpful with menu choices to offering wines. The dry-aged ribeyes were good. Both were a little undercooked, but still great flavor. I would definitely come back and try more things. Don't forget to try the mashed potatoes and the green beans. It does become a little expensive, as everything is ordered a la carte. Overall, great experience!3/8/2013 12:00:00 AMWe went for an evening outWe went for an evening out with friends and enjoyed the ambiance and wonderful food. The plates were plentiful. We ended up staying for the Mackenzie River Band which was very enjoyable. We were able to drink, people watch and enjoy some dancing. The only 2 things I would change would be to turn the music down a bit so that you can still hear enough to visit. It doesn't need to be blaring and the people who would come and stand in groups in front of our booth so that we couldn't see the band or dance floor. I have been there before but my parents had not, and they absolutely loved the food. The Chocolate Maple Bacon Whiskey dessert was to die for!
