Tucked away from the bustle of the retail store and restaurant, The Loft features a quiet and spacious room with grand windows overlooking the Ottauquechee River and falls. Combined with the award-winning American cuisine of Joshua Duda, extensive wine selections and impeccable service, our team will design a truly memorable event for you and your guests. The Loft is an ideal setting for business lunches or dinners, wedding showers, small weddings and private corporate meetings. Guests can watch glassblowers, shop in our retail store, and enjoy the quintessential Vermont dining experience. The Loft will accommodate 72 seated or 100 guests comfortably.

Special Events & Promotions: Bloody Mary Brunch and book signing, Sunday, June 3rd, 11-1pm featuring Jeffrey Pogash, the distinguished author of "Bloody Mary", a fascinating look at the history of the Bloody Mary. 'Jeffrey's son Jonathan will also be joining us. Jonathan has just penned the 75th Anniversary edition of the coveted Mr. Bartender's Guide. Together, this father and son team are professional cocktail consultants better known as The Cocktail Gurus. They will be here discussing and signing their books which will be available for purchase. Space is limited to the first 25 reservations, $45 per person not including tax and gratuity including a 3 course brunch and a Bloody Mary. Simon Pearce Restaurant, recently voted one of America’s Most Romantic Restaurants by Travel and Leisure and Best of New England, VT 2011: Meal with a View, offers Creative American cuisine utilizing fresh local ingredients, thoughtfully prepared and attentively served in a classic restored Mill… overlooking the Ottauquechee River. The staff motto is "quality without pretense." The dining room is casually elegant with views overlooking the waterfall and covered bridge. Recipient of Wine Spectator's "Best of Award of Excellence" since 1993, they offer a series of wine dinners monthly from November through May. They feature handmade glassware and pottery, which you can observe being made in their on-site glass and pottery workshop at The Mill. Enjoy their retail shop before or after you dine. Reservations are not accepted for lunch but are accepted for dinner. The restaurant will do their best to accommodate requests but does not guarantee any specific seating. Continued

"The view of the falls is superb. The Reservation, Seating, Bar, Food Service and the Food itself is the best in Vermont. Best dinner I have had in Vermont in a decade. FANTASTIC. Plus they are recovering from a major floor and still they came through with a great meal. If I did not live six hours away I would eat here very often. The price was great, meal and drinks $91.00 for two, the day before I spent $150 and it was not 1/2 as good."

"I think this is truly the best retaurant within a 20-mile radius. It's comparable to fine dining establishments in New York and Boston. But, there's no 'dress code'. The service is on par with the best restaurants in any major city. They're truly knowledgeable and we truly felt special. And, the food is absolutley fantastic. You can't go wrong with any of the menu items. I was quite impressed with the Simon Pearce labled wines, too."

"Went in not knowing what to expect - Simon Pearce retail store located in the same building as the restaurant and glass factory. The restaurant experience (service, food, and atmosphere) is on par with any fine dining experience in a major city. What made this better was that I didn't have to get dressed up to go out to eat dinner."

"It was our first trip back to Simon Pearce since Hurricane Irene came through. The bridge is still out and there is a bit of a detour, it the extra drive is worth the food and the attention from the staff."

"Attended one of the restaurant's regularly scheduled wine dinners. The food was well-prepared and appropriately matched with the featured wines. The $65/person price was very reasonable given the food's quality and our overall satisfaction with the experience. We eat at Simon Pearce regularly and recommend it highly."
