Nice design, interesting menu, great view of the pool. The food was not very exciting, the wine we picked as not good at all, the medium rare lamp was definitely medium, the service wasnt very good.

This is a reliable Kerry Simon restaurant. The only thing I didn't like was having a special occasion dinner seated next to people in flip flops and swimsuit cover-ups. Is that really trendy? Next time we'll head somewhere a little more upscale for what we're paying.

Menu is small - not many choices for picky eaters. Ended up eating sushi, which was a litte dry. Rock shrimp was TO DIE FOR! Scene is very trendy and great atmosphere!

Simon does it again by creating a unique meno and dining environment. His new space at the Palm Place has carried on his tradition of being a superb place to eat with incredible ambiance and chow. Simon remains one of my top 3 places to dine in Las Vegas.

Either Open Table or Simons screwed up my reservation. I had confirmation from Open Table, but when I called Simon's to let them know we were running 15 minutes late, they didn't have any reservation for us. Luckily, they were able to get us in. Not sure I will use Open Table again after that.

Overall a very good dining experience. Steaks were perfectly cooked, sushi was fresh and delicious. Wait staff very knowledgable but I had to ask for my drink to be refilled twice (although the other person at my table got his refilled so many times he had extras on the table and didn't even ask once!) Towards the end of our meal it got so loud we had to shout to be heard across our table. The only other drawback was that it was a little pricey but it was still a good experience for a special occasion.

    OpenTable Diner Since 2008
    Dined on 7/18/2008
I was really disappointed with my whole experience at Simon. First they seated us literally in the farthest corner of the resteraunt, destroying any hope of ambience. In addition there were 6 of us dining and they messed up 3 of the food orders, on top of completely inconsistent tasting cocktails from one round to the next. I would never go back. I hope for the sake of others it was just an off night!

Completely overated - I have been to almost every restaurant in town and it took over 45 min. to be seated WITH a reservation. The server wouldn't leave us alone and was basically trying to get us to eat faster, so she could get another table and get us out of there. My meatloaf was cold - and it's their "signature" dish, plus it took 14 minutes to get a cocktail. I never received the espresso I ordered - so we paid our bil and got dessert somewhere else. Thank you - Randi Lyn Graber

The only thing I'd comment about is that the air vents in the back room are huge, and make the customers (and food) kind of cold. I'm sure they'll fix that tho.

First off, the food was fantastic and so was our waitress. We also enjoyed the decor and had a nice evening. However, we thought it would be more of a scene. There were several empty tables, and we expected it to be crowded. Maybe it is because of the economy, or maybe it is because it is new. We will come back again sometime.

I'm so glad Simon found a new home at Palms Place! Simon has always been one of my favorites and it will continue to be. I was a regular at the Hard Rock and now will be at the Palms. The quality of the food and service is unparralled. I was happy to see the menu didn't change much which I think has always been part of the success. The wine list is GREAT, ambiance is awesome and most of the all seeing familiar faces on staff was very nice. Continuity is critical in Las Vegas with all of the competition.

I was very disappointed with the food. I had a reservation for next week to bring a friend of mine who is a chef from England and I am canceling. The food was not good at all. I started w/ a salad and the grapefruit vin. dressing was awful. The sushi was not very good at all and the special sauce on top of my roll was fair at best. My boyfriend's dinner came out first and we had to wait about 10min. for my sushi. Everyone apologized. He was not happy with his food as well.
