"This time at the restauarant we went at breakafast time and the place was packed. The food which is always good was good however the service was off. Can't decide if because it was crowded or the server was just off but just off.. never came back for more coffee or never got more ice for water and the food didn't come all together. there were four and things came in separately. just off today but the food once it was correct was good"

"The ambiance of the restaurant is very romantic. Everything we ordered was very tasty and prepared to our specifications. I had the skirt steak and it was juicy and tender! Their spicy edamame's and tuna dynamite are a must for appetizers, we all loved it! I would recommend this restaurant to all my friends and will be back again!"

"The best lamb chop we ever had. Everything we ordered was scrumptious. Service was warm and welcoming, none of the standard snobbish Beverley Hills air. We were so very delighted with the dining experience there. Compliments to the chef."

"Skip Simon LA. Over price food and drinks. Drinks were $14 each...Totally empty on a Saturday night. I had the flat-bread special for $22, he had the crab cake. After the lack luster appetizers we decided to go someplace else for dinner. There are many other better places (Animal, The Bazaar, my local Sushi place to name a few).

Nice atmosphere and bread basket but unfortunately this place fell short of expectations."

"The food was frankly mediocre - the mussels were jumbo and flavorless, the halibut was overcooked and the white wine was served at room tempertature. The waiter was just going through the motions. When, a long time after being seated and greeted, we mentioned to him that our water glasses still hadn't been filled, he gestured towards the kitchen and said "He'll be coming by soon" (which in fact he didn't; we had to flag down a water server to finally get some water). All of this would have been acceptable if the dinner were something like $90 for two, but instead it was more like $130 (minus tip), which in my book can only be justified by a genuinely exceptional meal. This didn't come close to that."
