  • "We had dinner at Silver after reading reviews of the restaurant. We were not disappointed. From the moment we were greeted at the front desk everyone the staff at Silver was attentive. When we asked about a wine our server said she did not know but was happy to bring the sommelier over. He was great! Based on what we told him we liked he suggested a wine and told us he'd take it back if we weren't happy. Turns out it was a perfect match for our meal and taste buds! The meals from appetizer to dessert were delicious and the portions were quite generous. I would definite go back to Silver the next time I'm in P.C."

My daughter and I split the kale caesar salad and loved it. All our entrees were delicious. Definitely get a side order of the brussel sprouts, so good! The bread and dipping oil is way too good. We never have room for dessert so I can't comment on it."

  • "We loved the food and atmosphere. The baby octopus with Spanish smoky pimiento was so good we licked the plate. The lamb loin was large enough to share, but we managed to finish two orders plus a side dish of pomegranate Brussels sprouts. Both dishes complemented each other. I like my meat more rare than medium, and one order came out that way, so my husband and I switched plates. We were also interested in the cobia but they we out of it. I would definitely recommend this place."

  • "Our group enjoyed the black kale salad and tuna tartare (minus the Covina since they were out of it). Zabuton steak was excellent . Gnocchi was a hit as well. The only problem, and it was a big one, was the service. Even with a reservation we were sent to the upstairs bar for about a half hour. Then we were seated at a table that was open when we arrived, but our waiter didn't for an amazingly long time and only after we asked for him. Unfortunately, it didn't improve from there. Wine didn't show up until entrees arrived even though we ordered it at the same time. Unfortunately, the 20% gratuity was included. Maybe that explains the service."

We felt they didn't make an effort to put us on a nice table because they were more concerned about their sections. The food was very good but not enough to justify the price. The service in the other hand was great. Also, we felt it was a little too bright in there."

  • "We came back here to celebrate my birthday after a great experience last year. We were really disappointed when we were seated at a table in the middle of the restaurant after making reservations a month out and requesting a side table out of the restaurant traffic areas. The wait staff all appeared to be busy but not sure doing what as they left our water glasses empty multiple times and never poured our wine for us. They also never cleared away our dirty appetizer dishes when our entrees were served. For the price I would go elsewhere with so many other great choices in Park City. I had the scallops which were done nicely but nothing special. My husband had corbia which was also nothing special."

  • "The ambience of Silver is unique & fun. Menu is small-only four main courses from which to choose. Enjoyed pork shank which was prepared well, but didn't care for the olive flavored mashed potatoes. Wife's choose- gnocchi but never noticed it was a ricotta gnocchi- was never explained that way on menu. We asked to select another menu item. The service up to that point had been fun & very interactive between us/ waiter. Once the menu item was sent back the service level suddenly changed to cold & very little attention was provided from the waiter. The second item prepared for my wife was the scallops. Was below the standard - scallops were gritty with sand and rubbery. I will need to give it another try to see if it was just an off-night."

Last year, some friends and I were looking for a place to eat around 9:30 at night. This time, I looked at their menu and a few items caught my eye, so we stopped in. Thus began my love affair with Silver. Unlike most ski towns, Park City has a very vibrant and high quality restaurant scene. So, when I say that Silver is tied for my favorite restaurant in Park City, that is no small statement. Their menu is a fabulous mix of traditional dishes and imaginative new dishes. They have beautiful creations for every appetite, light to heavy, and all perfectly seasoned. You will not regret going!"

We love farm to table concepts when they are done properly, and the flavors jump off the plate! Unfortunately, this is not the case with Silver! If you are going for unusual, you have to do it well, especially with such a limited menu! Flavors were just "so so" and the Kale Cesar was too fishy! Scallops did not have the proper sear etc! Dessert was great! But, I think overall, the menu needs a rework! Service was good!"

  • "The food quality and execution were top-notch. And the ambience and venue are fresh and hip, but remember, this is not Manhattan. Hostess could set a more positive tone when she greets guests. Greeting clients by name, a smile, instead of a scowl, would be welcome. The food was nicely done, it was just the ordering and getting it that was challenging. Lots of people running around and gaps of abandonment at the table, wondering if another glass of wine or dessert was possible. No one seems to have command of the front of the house, like the well-run Tallisker across the street. Our server was very pleasant and enthusiastic. Just don't think she had the support of a well run team. Need to shape it up for that price point."

  • "Comfortable atmosphere. The cassoulet was excellent. We split the zabuton steak and lamb entrees. Both were outstanding. The steak was served rare as requested and it was perfect! The only blemish on the meal was the soup du jour appetizer. It was described as sweet potato soup with smoked leeks. The soup tasted more strongly of leeks than sweet potato. We would definitely dine here again."

The food was outstanding, although the menu was somewhat limited, particularly for kids. We ate here on New Year's Eve, so glad we made reservations months in advance. While I wouldn't say this is the best overall value, you will have an excellent dining experience."
