Diner Reviews
  • "For our first night in Park City, Silver was not a disappointment- ambiance, food, service, so nice!"
    Dined on 4/4/2014
  • "Wonderful food, small but filling portions that are abundant in flavor and tasteful presentation. Great cocktails and an incredible wine list."

  • "Probably my favorite restaurant in town. Their foie gras is the best I've ever had, I dream about their Brussels sprouts, and the zabatone steak is beyond description. Just go."

  • "We had dinner at Silver after reading reviews of the restaurant. We were not disappointed. From the moment we were greeted at the front desk everyone the staff at Silver was attentive. When we asked about a wine our server said she did not know but was happy to bring the sommelier over. He was great! Based on what we told him we liked he suggested a wine and told us he'd take it back if we weren't happy. Turns out it was a perfect match for our meal and taste buds! The meals from appetizer to dessert were delicious and the portions were quite generous. I would definite go back to Silver the next time I'm in P.C."

  • "Our food was superb. Zabuton steak was excellent, the bread melts in your mouth and cocktails were even fantastic. Not exactly kid-oriented atmosphere or menu but they did a wonderful job accommodating our four kids. All were happy."

  • "The octopus appetizer was the hit of the evening but everything we had was delicious! We loved the tuna & cobia appetizer as well as the cobia dinner entree. My guests loved Silver & I will definitely take them & other guests back again!"

  • "We have been to Silver many times and it is one of our favorites in Park City. The food has always been creative and delicious. Shawn, the GM, has gone out of his way to make us feel welcome and is always great for a recommendation re food or wine. We make it a point to go to Silver every time we are in Park City."

  • "Food was poor quality. Meat tasted like a mush, sauce out of a can. Would never return or recommend to others."
    Dined on 3/21/2014
  • "The pasta dish - black garlic pappardelle - was really not good at all. Oily, poor taste. Ordered by two at our table and both agreed it was one of the worst pasta dishes we have tried. Food really mediocre, especially for the price. Many better options in Park City."

  • "I had the steak and had to send it back as it was tough and I could not chew it. I wound up only having soup as my friend was already half way through her meal. It is a very expensive restaurant for the food that is served. Won't be going back unfortunately."

  • "In general, very good restaurant, but prices were over the experience,"
    Dined on 3/18/2014
  • "We arrived early, were friendly and very attentive. Tuna tartare, lamb & Brussels were amazing. Chocolate flourless cake- one of the best I've ever had."

  • "This was our second time dining at Silver. We love this place and come when we're in Park City. I don't think you could go wrong with anything you order. My daughter and I split the kale caesar salad and loved it. All our entrees were delicious. Definitely get a side order of the brussel sprouts, so good! The bread and dipping oil is way too good. We never have room for dessert so I can't comment on it."

  • "We loved the food and atmosphere. The baby octopus with Spanish smoky pimiento was so good we licked the plate. The lamb loin was large enough to share, but we managed to finish two orders plus a side dish of pomegranate Brussels sprouts. Both dishes complemented each other. I like my meat more rare than medium, and one order came out that way, so my husband and I switched plates. We were also interested in the cobia but they we out of it. I would definitely recommend this place."

  • "Our group enjoyed the black kale salad and tuna tartare (minus the Covina since they were out of it). Zabuton steak was excellent . Gnocchi was a hit as well. The only problem, and it was a big one, was the service. Even with a reservation we were sent to the upstairs bar for about a half hour. Then we were seated at a table that was open when we arrived, but our waiter didn't for an amazingly long time and only after we asked for him. Unfortunately, it didn't improve from there. Wine didn't show up until entrees arrived even though we ordered it at the same time. Unfortunately, the 20% gratuity was included. Maybe that explains the service."

  • "We love our time in Park City and during every trip we make a point to eat at Silver - always the best local ingredients crafted to delight diners. They have a great wine list but always respect our choice to bring a special bottle from our Utah cellar. Sean and the team do a great job making you feel welcomed and the food is off the charts amazing!"

  • "I took my wife there for our anniversary. We put a note on our reservation about it and nobody acknowledged that. We felt they didn't make an effort to put us on a nice table because they were more concerned about their sections. The food was very good but not enough to justify the price. The service in the other hand was great. Also, we felt it was a little too bright in there."

  • "Always looked forward to dining at Silver on my trips to Park City but no more. My food was mediocre but companions was fish was cold and not cooked through. Disappointing to say the least. Have to find a new favorite in Park City."

  • "We came back here to celebrate my birthday after a great experience last year. We were really disappointed when we were seated at a table in the middle of the restaurant after making reservations a month out and requesting a side table out of the restaurant traffic areas. The wait staff all appeared to be busy but not sure doing what as they left our water glasses empty multiple times and never poured our wine for us. They also never cleared away our dirty appetizer dishes when our entrees were served. For the price I would go elsewhere with so many other great choices in Park City. I had the scallops which were done nicely but nothing special. My husband had corbia which was also nothing special."

  • "We've been visiting Silver since its opening. We continue to be impressed with the evolving and unique menu and the professional and knowledgable staff. My husband has also continually trusted Silver to host important client dinners, which is likely the best recommendation we can provide!"

  • "The restaurant is beautiful, the service was impeccable and the food. Was one of the best meals we have ever had! We will definitely return."

  • "The ambience of Silver is unique & fun. Menu is small-only four main courses from which to choose. Enjoyed pork shank which was prepared well, but didn't care for the olive flavored mashed potatoes. Wife's choose- gnocchi but never noticed it was a ricotta gnocchi- was never explained that way on menu. We asked to select another menu item. The service up to that point had been fun & very interactive between us/ waiter. Once the menu item was sent back the service level suddenly changed to cold & very little attention was provided from the waiter. The second item prepared for my wife was the scallops. Was below the standard - scallops were gritty with sand and rubbery. I will need to give it another try to see if it was just an off-night."

  • "Four of us had a great meal. The mushroom gnocchi had at least 5 kinds of wild mushrooms and tasted great. The wine list met everyone's wants for the evening. Service was attentive but not overbearing."

  • "The entire dining service was above and beyond our high expectations. The food was outstanding and the ambiance was great. We highly recommend Silver."

  • "Silver has something for everyone. We had a meat eater, a vegetarian and a gluten free with us and all were able to happily dine. Lovely atmosphere and caring staff."

  • "Fun, energetic and great food. I love this place for dancing and dining."

  • "Being a frequent visitor to Park City, I have walked past Silver many times. And, in the past, I looked that their menu, and passed it up. Last year, some friends and I were looking for a place to eat around 9:30 at night. This time, I looked at their menu and a few items caught my eye, so we stopped in. Thus began my love affair with Silver. Unlike most ski towns, Park City has a very vibrant and high quality restaurant scene. So, when I say that Silver is tied for my favorite restaurant in Park City, that is no small statement. Their menu is a fabulous mix of traditional dishes and imaginative new dishes. They have beautiful creations for every appetite, light to heavy, and all perfectly seasoned. You will not regret going!"

  • "We eat out frequently in Honolulu, Las Vegas and San Francisco. Silver proved to be a favorite for all four in our party."

  • "The restaurant was recommended by the "Baltimore Sun"-our local paper. The atmosphere was great and the decor was unique. Food with a twist, i.e. kale caesar salad was delicious."

  • "What an awesome experience! From being seated to exiting the restaurant! The food was phenomenal and the staff was attentive and friendly! The owner was delightful and made us all feel at home! All in our party can not wait to go back!"

  • "We are in the cooking and entertainment business and have the privilege of eating in some of the best venues in the world. We love farm to table concepts when they are done properly, and the flavors jump off the plate! Unfortunately, this is not the case with Silver! If you are going for unusual, you have to do it well, especially with such a limited menu! Flavors were just "so so" and the Kale Cesar was too fishy! Scallops did not have the proper sear etc! Dessert was great! But, I think overall, the menu needs a rework! Service was good!"

  • "This restaurant has a fairly limited menu, and those who don't go for beef might find their choices extremely constrained (one fish dish, no chicken, two vegetarian selections). And prices are not cheap. That said, everything we had was excellently prepared and quite tasty. The portion sizes are adequate (except for the soup, which was pretty skimpy for the price)."

  • "Loved our dinner at Silver. The Lamb Loin was to die for. Great cocktails, great atmosphere."

  • "The food quality and execution were top-notch. And the ambience and venue are fresh and hip, but remember, this is not Manhattan. Hostess could set a more positive tone when she greets guests. Greeting clients by name, a smile, instead of a scowl, would be welcome. The food was nicely done, it was just the ordering and getting it that was challenging. Lots of people running around and gaps of abandonment at the table, wondering if another glass of wine or dessert was possible. No one seems to have command of the front of the house, like the well-run Tallisker across the street. Our server was very pleasant and enthusiastic. Just don't think she had the support of a well run team. Need to shape it up for that price point."

  • "Comfortable atmosphere. The cassoulet was excellent. We split the zabuton steak and lamb entrees. Both were outstanding. The steak was served rare as requested and it was perfect! The only blemish on the meal was the soup du jour appetizer. It was described as sweet potato soup with smoked leeks. The soup tasted more strongly of leeks than sweet potato. We would definitely dine here again."

  • "Silver is located in the heart of Main Street. You will experience a very knowlegable waitstaff, as well as a hip but casual vibe. The food was outstanding, although the menu was somewhat limited, particularly for kids. We ate here on New Year's Eve, so glad we made reservations months in advance. While I wouldn't say this is the best overall value, you will have an excellent dining experience."

  • "THis was our first time to Silver. The decor was beautiful, the service impeccable. Three of us all enjoyed our meals. Included an excellent kale caesar salad & mushroom gnocci. Highly recommend."

  • "We enjoyed the dinner and great customer service. Food was good but VERY small portions. If you are hungry don't go here but if you want a romantic dinner this is a great place. Very modern fun decor great staff."
