Silo .5% Wine BarOne of the best places inOne of the best places in Baltimore for a great relaxing evening.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMAnother fabulous dinner!Silo is a 'go-to' place in Baltimore. Feels like you're in a very different city -- great escape. Cocktails, food, service (Nicki), wine and desserts were terrific!5/8/2013 12:00:00 AMThe only problem with SiloThe only problem with Silo .5% Wine Bar is the acoustics. Because there are so many hard surfaces (glass, cement, tile, metal) and high ceilings the noise level was so high our waitress and ourselves had to shout at each other to be heard. I wish all of the new restaurants would add had some softer touches like table cloths, carpets/area rugs and lower ceilings to give the places warmer ambience and then we wouldn't have to yell at each other while having a conversation.5/2/2013 12:00:00 AMThe staff was very accommodatingThe staff was very accommodating and friendly. Great spot.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMWE had a terrific time, ourWE had a terrific time, our waitress was especially a positive part of the evening, sorry can't remember her name. We sat upstairs with the great view, only issue was something is wrong with the ventilation system as three in our party were having trouble with their eyes. the waitress did not try to hide the fact that it was an issue they were working on, and I wouldn't let that keep me away from a return visit. This restaurant deserves support though it seems out of the main stream because of location.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMFood is always interestingFood is always interesting and well prepared. Our server was pleasant and attentive, but not really trained properly. Place settings were incorrectly positioned. She tried to remove plates, glasses before BOTH diners were finished. Small things, but just a little training or her own dining experience at a good restaurant could correct.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AM
