Food was very good, though the daily menu was a bit heavier on seafood and entrails than I would have liked.

The view at sunset is out of this world and architecturally even the walk up from the hotel is enchanting. Although the food is not cheap, the quality of ingredients and presentation is highly thought out. The service was fantastic, everyone from our main waiter to the bread waiter were extremely hospitable, friendly and helpful. The wine list is excellent particularly if opt to do the wine pairings. Words fail to capture this place and in the heart of the beautiful Big Sur this is the perfect up market choice. This is one restaurant where you can't really go wrong with any dishes (two thumbs up for Executive Chef John Cox). Chef John Cox was nice enough to take a picture with me upon request. Every dish I tasted was delicious and I found the prices to be quite reasonable. Lunch Prix Fixe is $40 and Dinner Prix Fixe is $110.

It is a beautiful place to just sit relax and have a drink. Views are amazing and you can sit indoor or outdoor.
