SiennaExcellent!Been there twice in the past few months. Both times the food was excellent, the service first class and the ambiance outstanding. I have not been for several years because the meals were too heavy although excellent. They have now added a salad and lighter menu. It was varied and exciting. Jen our server was fabulous and tended to our every need to ensure our evening was extra special. Her food recommendations were spot on, and we never had to ask for anything. They have an outstanding menu with something for everyone. The waitress was very helpful with both dinner suggestions and wine recommendations. Another plus is they give you a 10% discount on your first visit. Our expectations were surpassed. All of us were happy with Sienna. Our servers, Silas and Carrie, warmly welcomed us and were very helpful with our selections. The Citrus Ahi was a wonderful appetizer. The Pork Bellies were OK. The Salmon, Sea Bass and Short Rib entries were very good. We finished up with the Pot de Creme which was the best. We brought our own wine and found the $30.00 corkage a little gouging for two bottles. We would rather tip our servers more. Only problem was the people who were done eating at the buffet wouldn't leave, so by the time we got there for our 2:15 reservation, we had to wait 45 minutes to be seated. Mostly the customers fault, why would anyone sit for over 2 hours at a table when you know others are waiting? But the restaurant should have done more to speed them along, busing the table, not stopping by to refill drinks, etc. I just know that we will be back and I will make reservations earlier so I can be there before the rude and stupid people hog all the tables.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMNot worth the effortEven though we thought the food and service were good, we will not go back to Sienna for brunch. They had all the food in a long line along the bar. The line to get the food was long and slow moving. All the food was together instead of divided up into food stations, as most restaurants do for brunch. After we ate our food, my husband asked me to get a food item for him that was toward the end of the food line. I had to get in the beginning of the line, get a plate and then slowly move with the line of people until I got to the one food item that I wanted. ThefoodI really love Sienna. Thefood is outstanding and there is something for everyone.They also have a varied cocktail and wine list. I ordered the salmon and my friend had anotehr fish dish and we both cleaned our plates, The fish was cooked perfectly with ideal sides. The waitstaff is also knowledgeable.
I didn't give Sienna a 5 for a couple of reasons.One is that I spilled my drink, and while the waitress was great about it and quickly cleaned it up without making me feel anymore embarrassed than I already was, I was offered another drink, but charged for both.don't most restaurants comp'd a drink if spilled? It is surrounded by glass so you don't freel like you will be forgotten there, which is nice. It is quiet in that room so you are able to hold conversations easily. Hostess was very friendly and allowed us to be seated if we wished or remain in the comfy waiting area while waiting for the rest of our party. Very attentive server, food was elegantly presented and very delicious!
