A word from Sienna Restaurant by Donatella (East Hampton)
Following the success of Beaumarchais East Hampton, restaurateur Jonathan Rapillo teams up with Celebrity Chef Donatella Arpaia and returns to the same space to present a new restaurant and ultralounge concept this summer.

Sienna offers a European-inspired experience melding the flair of the French Riviera with a touch of warm American hospitality. Nightlife will be characterized by a summer residency of New York City's hottest venues at Sienna's Ultralounge.

All guests are invited to join us for bottle service if you wish to keep your table when the restaurant transitions into a night club.

  • "Sienna Restaurant was ridiculously expensive. Especially the drinks. One Martini, up was $22.00 . The food was fine but for an Italian restaurant, they had only two pastas in the menu and no Italian wines. The place looks run down and it was empty. If it hadn't been for the wonderful waitress who took a personal interest in making our experience pleasant, the whole dinner would have been a fiasco. Needless to say, we will not go back."

You're better off dining outside of the main dining room, which seemed dark and cramped. It was a disappointment. The lobster cobb salad was good but the portion was minuscule. The grilled octopus salad was bland. While many restaurants in the Hamptons are expensive--- some are worth it---Sienna's is not!"

  • "I was so disappointed with Sienna, I really haven never been so disgusted with service, venue, and lack of consideration for patrons as I was here. Just to give you a background, I am an open table VIP, and dine out at least 6-7 times a month with open table, this is not counting impromptu dinners. The restaurant portion of the venue was entirely empty, not another group to be seen, so sitting us right next to a micros computer stand is unacceptable. The waitstaff was attentive when we ordered drinks but thereafter just stood to the side staring at us for about 20 minutes before coming to take our order. Considering that I had 20 minutes to peruse the menu, I realized the menu was missing half of the options that are on opentables menu."

  • "They didn't serve us isn't il we ask a few times. Finally got us drinks them never came with wine until we reminded them several times. The tuna tartar was not fresh but chewy! We had heating lamps near our outdoor table and they took them away exalting VIP's need them! After all the bad service they wanted to get us a another round if drinks but we wanted to get out and didn't want to wait so they comped then dessert. It was a weird crowd. But the dJ was fabulous!"

  • "Sienna is not ready for prime time. The former restaurant name still on the outside, carpet dirty and worn. The restaurant is undecided if it is a restaurant or nightclub. If it is a restaurant it needs an interior facelift. It is gloomy and has no style or graciousness. Prices are steep even for the Hamptons. Meatballs (tasty) and pasta are outrageously priced. We ordered appetizers to be shared, but we had to apportion the food ourselves. One guest had expected to order salmon as he had read the menu online before coming. He was told that the online menu was from the former restaurant and salmon was unavailable! While early in evening the piped in music was loud, the volume was lowered upon request. Star chef doesn't mean star review. "

The music during dinner makes you feel like you are in st tropez, then at midnight the restaurant transforms into a high-end club. A real hotspot for good-looking people. We will be back!"

  • "Went with a group of friends and had an amazing dinner. We love TBAR in the city and the food is just as good at Sienna. As if a great dinner was not enough of a reason to go back (try the tuna - amazing!) my friends and I watched the staff transform the room into a super cool VIP nightclub. We were able to buy a bottle service table inside the club. Great DJ so we stayed all night Ira, one of the owners, made sure we had a great time. We are going back next weekend."

  • "Loved this place. Lots of energy, and the food was top notch. I highly recommend the duck with sweet potatoes. The staff was very nice. They would have received 5 stars if the wait staff followed up after our food was served and topped off our wine and water. That took a few minutes. They were also setting up for their night club so they kind of had to hurry us along, which was honestly fine because we wanted to eat quickly and get on our way anyway. We had a late reservation. I doubt that was typical. I definitely plan on going back."

  • "We were sat promptly- attentive, warm, friendly service, not a detail spared, offering black napkins to our dark clothing-clad guests, to customizing certain dishes based on specific dietary needs. Food delicious with a presentation that had élan. Where there for brunch, must have the croque monsieur, almond flour pancakes and irresistible French Toast. The ambience was beautiful, tan accents on white background. There was a buzz in the air with fantastic, fresh music which had not only our table swaying to the beat, but,ultimately, the entire restaurant rhythmically moving as the restaurant DJ took over the addictive pre-recorded set to his own variation of dance music. No one wanted to leave. We are coming back for dinner. Memora"

  • "7:30 reservation and they where sweeping the floors from the afternoon brunch which was finished at 6pm. A busboy was going around to each table around us and was polishing silverware. The awning outside over the tables was very shabby. This was not appetizing or appropriate at a restaurant that is at least $250 per couple without drinks/wine. The wine list is not well balanced and extremely overpriced. The food was good, not memorable, but the prices are over the top for a "bistro" in the Hamptons, more than NYC! The service is in experienced. It may be a scene, but after one time experience, I doubt people will want to come back at those prices."

The food prices are reasonable (for the area); the drinks are somewhat overpriced. If you are there for the scene then request a table inside. If you want a more mellow dinner experience request the patio. I went for dinner, but would definitely return to try the brunch."

  • "My wife and I tried Beaumarchais on a whim. As most East Hampton regulars know, many restaurants and clubs have been in this space over the years. They constantly seem to come and go. The food was actually very good. We had the fluke ceviche, the fluke entree and an entree-sized portion of the homemade ravioli. We also had the chocolate cake for dessert which was amazing. The wine list is very limited. The cheapest Pinot Noir was $120. Drinks were over the top expensive. The staff is very european- English is a challenge for some. We will likely go back once more this summer but this would not be one of our regular spots as it seems destined for hedge fund kids who want to spend $500 for the bowl of mojitos on the menu."

  • "Opening weekend for Beaumarchais, a la Plage. We dined a few hours after what looked like a happening brunch. We had a great dinner. The crabcake and the ceviche were very good. Our steaks were great too, but the sauce for the steak au poivre was flavorless. Our waitress, out for the weekend from Beaumarchais, NYC, was terrific. It's great vibe, friendly staff and looks like it should be a great success this season."
