My wife had duck, which was flat out tasty, and I had a special consisting of tenderloin tips in a chianti reduction over mashed potatoes. Both were outstanding.
The only caution I have about Sierra is that if you have a dietary restriction to milk, your choices will be limited. They use cheese or cream in most of the entrees. Unfortunately, the kitchen fan was broken and nothing could be grilled. We ended up getting the Italian BLT, which was excellent, and the tuna melt, which also was excellent. Given the kitchen was "down" for grilling, I would have thought that some "allowance" would have been made on the bill or some offer of a free dessert or the like for the next visit (nothing expected, but having owned several restaurants, it is something I would have done if I owned Siena). That is a management issue, of course. The server could not have been any better or more appologetic about the kitchen issue.12/10/2012 12:00:00 AM
