We sat in the bar area and even though they weren't very busy the bartenders talked a lot to each other and was sometimes difficult to get their attention. Good drink specials. restaurants.5/21/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfectionComplementary hummus and fried pita (veges and humus for gluten-free guests) upon arrival.......Amazing lamb shanks very reasonably priced (look at the price of shanks in the grocery!).....All six of us were moaning with the first bite! We can attest for the lamb shanks and braised short ribs.....LOTS of gluten free choices which are marked right on the regular menu. We had a great experience starting with our waitress , Morgan and the owner who took a personal interest in us. The cocktails were fabulous along with the tomato and goat cheese dip. We had the house and beet salads which were beautiful with very fresh ingredients. We split the veggie pizza which was actually loaded with many different veggies and had a light delicious crust. I've had cocktails at many fine restaurants, but none have ever beat this one. It was wonderful! Not usually a hummus fan, but the fresh pita chips and hummus with cilantro and a hint of garlic was outstanding. We both loved it. Husband had the Halibut (hard to find in these parts) and it was great. I had and highly recommend the Lobster ravioli, with the homemade slightly spiced creamy crab sauce. We can't wait to go back. We went the tapas route, and had several items between us. All were excellent. The service couldn't have been better. The only negative is that they brought us a complimentary tapas dish of pita with cilantro hummus. The chef should know that many people, including me, have a STRONG aversion to cilantro. We hadn't been there in awhile. We were glad we went again. The appetizer was great, wonderful flavors, to start. Loved the wedge salad. All entrees were pretty terrific. The salmon was beautiful, well presented and cooked perfectly. It was also a generous portion, at a very reasonable price. Terrific service, attentive without being overly so. It is great to know you can count on a restaurant to time things just right so you can enjoy your meal without rushing and still have plenty of time to get to the theater.
