Siboney Cuisine founded by its owner Jose Luis Hernandez and family on June 19, 2009, fulfilling the dream of being able to delight the Chicago community and suburbs, with the seasoning of our food that distinguishes us from our Caribbean species that are used to cook our Traditional dishes Cuban cuisine, native and international.

Siboney Cuisine prepares all meals and snacks with a 100 percent homemade style, our meats, Beef, Poultry, Pork and fish are fresh and 100 percent of the highest quality Market.

Siboney Cuisine invites you to try our typical cocktails and mix drinks made with 100 percent Cuban recipes, such as the mojito and daiquiri. Make things better by listening and dancing to Afrocuban musical genres such as rumba, Mambo, Guaguanco and guaracha.

Our motto is that our clients are pleased and satisfied with our service and quality of our dishes that is the most important thing for the Owner and Management.

  • "I've been eating at Siboney since 08. Matter of fact, I've even thrown a few parties there because I really liked the drinks, food, music, decor, service & bartenders. But things have been changing slowly, and not for the best. After asking numerous questions about why they've changed the music hours (making it later) and menu options, I was told that it's because of customer complaints. Hmm... customer complaints should make things change for the better, not for the worst. The food is okay, probably even great for a non-Hispanic person, but in all honesty it is not the quality meal I was used to from years ago. Black beans are more liquid than beans, drinks are bad, wine is cheap, churrasco is bland. Time to check out another Cuban place."

  • "Food- delicious. I was told over the phone that live music started at 9:30, so I made an 8:30 dinner reservation. At 9:45 there was no sign of the band, so I asked the waiter when the music would be started. He informed me the music started at 10:30. I decided to wait. At 11, the band still hadn't set up and we left- never having gotten to dance. While the food was delicious, I was quite disappointed about the dancing."

  • "NOT IMPRESSED. I have heard good things, though several have commented the service/food/drinks have dropped off since management changed. Hostess had no idea what Opentable was. The server brough incorrect beverages, forgot sides. Another waiter and a manager showed up after we ordered to ask if we'd been taken care of. When we said yes, they left but a 3rd waiter came over to take our order. Completely disorganized. When we sat down, one of the plates had stuck on food. The bread was stale. The grilled snapper had soggy skin & breading & was dripping in oil. Skirt steak was good. Rice and beans had NO SALT & were COLD. Plantins were good, but also room temp when they arrived. WILL NOT BE BACK."

  • "We went on a Monday night when no live music was playing. This should explain the "quiet" rating in the Noise column. There were no other people in the entire restaurant despite being there at prime dining hour (7pm). The host/server was friendly enough, but he disappeared for very long periods of time, and did not check up on us when our entrees arrived. We both ordered fish, which was apparently not what they are known for. Both of our dishes were so heavily salted (one was encrusted in salt) that they were inedible. At the end of the meal, the waiter noticed that we did not finish our meals and asked why. We let him know that they were just too salty. He acknowledged our comment, and handed us the bill."

  • "Siboney is a great please to enjoy great food & drinks. The music in the bar got to be too loud for a conversation at our table of four. We asked a couple of times to lower the music; we really could not hear each other talk. The music was lowered each time we asked, however the band kept getting loader throughout our dinner, which lasted about 3 hours. The only thing I find wrong with Siboney is the loudness of the music. If you go ask for a table up front, so the music is a little muted."
