Shun Lee CafeDim Sum across from Lincoln CenterThe variety of dim sum at this busy, noisy place across the street from Lincoln Center makes it our choice of before-performance lunch. Only downside is the high noise level every time we've been there.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMlincoln centerGreat for a pre-ballet/.theatre/opera dinner. Be prepared for noise, but excellent food.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMThe Cafe Beats the RestaurantThe Cafe has basically the same menu as the restaurant, plus dim sum. But it beats it in one important respect: the tables are not jammed in cheek by jowl as they are in Shun Lee proper, and as a result it's noticeably quieter.4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMOne of my favorite placesOne of my favorite places to eat. The Dim Sum is even quicker. The restaurant decor is cheerful and bright and represents a good value considering the neighborhood.3/13/2013 12:00:00 AMWe went here before an earlyWe went here before an early show at Lincoln Center, which started at 7 p.m. Had a reservation here for 5:15 which was sort of ridiculously early - but gave us plenty of time to enjoy our dinner. Dinner? We had wonton soup and tons of dim sum, which they bring around in rolling carts. Everything we chose was delicious and the wait staff explained any item you didn't know very well. Truth to tell, we rather pigged out on the dim sum - and loved every minute of it!3/12/2013 12:00:00 AM
