$66 for an 8oz Filet that was awful. Very poor value. I understand things have gone up, but so should the quality. Honestly could have gotten a much better steak at Outback. No flavor, wasn't cooked properly. This was the same experience for all 4 of us. Place was very noisy which contributed to the waiter screwing our orders, thus poor service. This used to be a good place when it was exclusively called Shula's. Not any more. Definitely off our go-to list for good.

We have been to Prime, A Shula’s Steak House many times over the years (Thanksgiving, several special occasions, and just dinner out when they had a great charcuterie board) and this was to celebrate my birthday. The food was delicious, but our server missed our bread order entirely and never realized his error. Then he brought out a shrimp and single oyster with a caviar topper and horseradish sauce that was a “free treat for my birthday” ( mind you, I am unable to eat any shellfish or raw items due to a heart transplant and other dietary restrictions) which my husband was charged $12.50 for. Again, we didn’t request the item nor could I eat it. The birthday girl at the next table also left her free shrimp and oyster untouched…I wonder if she was also charged for the privilege of food she didn’t want or eat! We each had French onion soup, missed our bread order, then split a filet with Bernaise since I’m not able to eat a lot. We attempted to order a salad, however, we couldn’t find any alternative dressings we thought would go with the flavors of the salads. They had blue cheese on their wedge, but couldn’t accommodate a request for blue cheese dressing instead of a buttermilk dressing they served with it. So, we passed on it. Our server sang in Italian which was very special as he has a wonderful voice, however, that was one of the few parts of the meal he did correctly. He was extremely nice, but needs to perhaps write notes so things aren’t missed as well as making sure the gratis items have been removed properly from the bill before presentation to a guest. My husband has managed restaurants for over 25 years, so we may be more aware of them than most people would be, but we paid for the free birthday treat because my husband didn’t want to dampen the celebratory mood for me. The highlight of my birthday meal was the raspberry sorbet with a rock salt sprinkled on top which really brought out the tart and sweet flavor of the raspberry. The atmosphere was ok.

We had a great meal here the food was really good, especially the steak and sides, the star was our server Manny. He went above and beyond for my husbands birthday and his service was excellent. My only complaint is the website lists a strict dress code and this was not enforced. many people in the restaurant were dressed like they were going to the pool or gym (flip flops, shorts, running shoes) I wish the dress code was enforced stronger for the price you pay and the atmosphere of the restaurant. I would also say that the area we were sitting in was a little dirty.

The ambiance was loud. The dj music was kind of annoying while trying to socialize. Odd to have a dj at a steak house.

The restaurant had a private event that required them closing early. We were rushed from the time we sat down and while we had time to eat they should have not been taking reservations that required a 15 minute window to order everything from drinks to dessert.
