"Class class class from start to finish. Outstanding service and outstanding food. Perhaps the best filet I've ever eaten.....and certainly the most generously sized serving of creme brulee I've ever seen.

Certainly not inexpensive.....but worth every penny spent. I will be a return customer."

"I have dined at several Shula's locations around the country over the past few years. Every experience has been good to very good. This was my first time at the Itasca, IL, location. We had a group for a business dinner with customers. The food and service were the best that I have ever experienced at a Shula's anywhere . . . and it rated up there in the top 5 of ANY steak restaurant that I have experienced. Our company picked up some business located nearby, so I can guarantee that I will be back for more of the same. Thanks, Shula's, for providing us with a most wonderful dining experience! If you want great service (not too much . . . not too little), ask for Kenny. He is a pro!"

"Reliable. Shula's are always a little dark and lack any romantic feel. Food is excellent and the steaks are what you pay for. Not somewhere I would ever consider for a romantic evening but good for a business or formal dinner meeting."

"Server delivered a memorized script while displaying their various Shula's cuts of meats in a monotone voice with no enthusiasm or embellishments, and that was the basic menu plus a sides menu. After that, no one showed up to take our wine order or our food order without searching out our server. The server did not know the wine menu nor the wine, it was obvious. The salad sides we ordered, we returned to the kitchen. The beef was good, but for the price, extremely expensive, not worth the poor selection of menu items, and poor service. I have certainly paid 1/2 or less of what they charge, and received excellent results, not here."
