Shula's Steak House - NYShula'sAte lunch at Shula's and was pleasantly surprised by the Mother's Day Brunch....terrific low price for a very
good selection. Included was a glass of champagne for the moms, although I got a glass as it was also my 60th
Birthday. Our waiter, Don was professional, courteous and was an added bonus to our experience.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMMother's Day BrunchTook my wife and daughters to Shulas on Mother's Day. We were originally seated inside where most of the tables were but requested to be seated where the reception area is so we managed to enjoy our meals because it was quieter.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMEXCELLENT STEAKSteak had great flavor and was cooked perfectly. Very good service. Will definitely go back. We also enjoy the Shula's
in Florida on a Disney properly. They are excellent with families with children as well as couples.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMStaff very attentive. GoodStaff very attentive. Good atmosphere for steak house. This was a 30th Anniversary trip and Shula's was one of the highlights of our trip.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMFabulous place to have a greatFabulous place to have a great meal near all the Broadway excitement to help accentuate the special time NYC offers. It was just great and I hope to return soon!4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMVery good steak (standardVery good steak (standard Shula´s, the same was on my stay at Shula´s in New Orleans) & wine for "relative good price". Very nice was greeting from chef cook direct at the table).4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMShula's hit all the properShula's hit all the proper notes for dinner. It is well situated for seeing a show.4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat place - little hard to findThe only negative was that we couldn't find the restaurant until we figured out it was in the Westin Hotel - there is definitely not the proper outside signage to identify where the restaurant is and bring people in the door! Aside from that, we were treated like royalty from the moment we entered the restaurant which is on the mezzanine level of the hotel. Our waiter, our meal and even the chef who came around to speak to ,and he was delightful, was superb! It was my husband's birthday and our anniversary so they did a little extra and it was very appreciated. I'd go back the next time we are in NY in a heartbeat just for a beautiful dinner.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstanding meal. I had theOutstanding meal. I had the 12 oz. filet, whicg was cooked to perfection. Service was also first class, and the location was superb. At least a doze major theaters within 5-10 minutes walk. There is definitely a return visit in our future4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMBest steak in New York CityTook my wife and mother-in-law while on holiday, and we all agreed it was the best steak we'd ever had. The service was exemplary, being both attentive and yet not intrusive. The chef came out to speak to us after our meal, and was charming and friendly. I couldn't recommend this restaurant enough.4/3/2013 12:00:00 AMsteaks were ordered mediumsteaks were ordered medium rare but came out closer to medium....everything else was very good.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMWe were so pleased with Shula's.We were so pleased with Shula's. I had read several reviews and can't quite figure out what restaurant those people were eating at. We were greeted by a lovely hostess. Our waiter was extremely attentive. During dinner, Chef Baz walked around the room to check that the diners were satisfied (when was the last time that happened in a NY restaurant)? I had the Prime Rib - absolutely delicious...tender, tasty, and perfectly cooked. The room itself is charming...perfect lighting...soft music (not intrusive) and the bonus was that the two top tables have a great space between them so you can actually walk to the inside seat without pulling out the table and hope that you don't wipe everything off the table next to you. Going back.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMA little hard to find as IA little hard to find as I didn't expect it to be in the Westin Hotel. For appetizers, we got the crab cake that was unbelievable and the lobster bisque which was amazing. We both had filets. She loved her 5 oz, but as a guy, get the upgrade to the 8 oz at a minimum. It was so tender, you really could skip the knife. Service was excellent, even with the restaurant near capacity at the height of the dinner crowd. It is a little pricey if you are on a budget, but not outlandish for Manhattan. It was a great meal for the price. There are many excellent steakhouses in NYC, and this one will not disappoint. It is fairly small, so make sure you get reservations ahead of time.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMFood and staff were excellent.Food and staff were excellent. Noisy kids there when we first arrived. Miami Dolphins pictures on the wall. No labels. Go for the food rather than the ambiance. Would definitely go back.3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful! Great food. BeWonderful! Great food. Be sure to ask for the Lobster mashed potatoes (not on the menu). Great staff!3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMhad lunch with my girlfriendhad lunch with my girlfriend friday 3/22, we both had the panini special and it was delicious...only issues i had was there was no exterior signage so it hard to find. also it was very slow at 2pm maybe 6 diners total, we stood there for ten minutes before someone noticed us....but good experience overall, bit overpriced but it's nyc, $75 for two sandwiches and one glass of wine is steep....you need an expense account to dine there...lol..3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent againExcellent food - the bread, shrimp cocktail, and steak were all excellent.3/19/2013 12:00:00 AM
