A word from Shula's Steak House - Naples
The theme for Shula's Steak House is a virtual museum of the 1972 Miami Dolphins' 17-0 perfect season, the NFL's only unbeaten team. The décor includes pictures and game balls from the '72 season. The menus are hand painted on NFL footballs then personally hand signed by Coach Shula himself.
The restaurant's reputation has been built on serving the "biggest and the best", which includes Premium Black Angus Beef. The menu features generous portions, including a signature 48-ounce porterhouse steak.

Diner Reviews
  • "Shula's is a warm and cozy type of steak house. The service is excellent and attentive. The food is very good. The steaks are cooked to perfection and the staff makes sure you approve before you eat."

  • "We enjoyed the BBQ shrimp appetizer at the suggestion of our waiter, delicious suggestion! We then enjoyed the porterhouse and filet, with roasted corn and crab mac and cheese. A wonderful combination of flavors. The entire meal was perfectly prepared and presented."

  • "Took my husband for lunch on Veteran's Day. It's so nice that they give the veteran his or her lunch free. But it seems when they have a special deal you can't get the full treatment. No bread was served. Our waitress told us they were told no bread but I did see some tables with bread and then when the bill came no Andes candies. Seems like a small thing but it does make a difference."

  • "We use Shulas mainly for special occasions as they never fail to provide an excellent meal and service. Also have been there for lunch a few times and been very satisfied. We are looking forward to our Christmas dinner there. Our children know how much we like it and are apt to give us gift cards!"

  • "Thoroughly enjoyed our NY strip steaks. They were cooked to perfection. Our wait staff was courtesy & friendly. Would recommend Shula's for special occasions as it is expensive but we'll worth the price."

  • "The filet was a five star but my cowboy I can sadly only give it a three."

  • "I've been eating in Naples restaurants since 2004. I must say, this was the most unpleasant dining experience I've had. It was lunch and we were told our waiter was "too busy." We had three different servers excluding the hostess who took our drink order. Although drinks were brought promptly, everything else; bread and our entrees took at least 40 minutes. Mind you, the restaurant was not busy. The food was mediocre. The petite filet was cooked as I had requested, but the accompanying sides and after-lunch coffee was cold. Bummer all the way around. Don't go there. Fix it Shula's, you have a lot of competition that will and does blow you out of the water."

  • "Had a great meal with great service! All 3 of us had steaks which were perfectly prepared with delicious wedge & Caesar salads. Tried green bean & crab Mac & cheese sides which were both yummy! We LOVE Shula's & will definitely be be back:)"

  • "Well worth the money. Staff is excellent. Amanda, our server and Beck were wonderful. The Apple Crisp dessert if the best dessert we have had in a long time. Very generous serving."

  • "We like Shula's, a lot. Food is great and service is usually good as well. Just one thing and I'll say it for the umpteenth time. After a great dinner with friends, the wine is gone and it's time to pay the bill, get the car and watch that late night movie. But wait -- it's not that simple at Shula's. While service is good throughout the meal, you just can't get your check. And when you eventually do get your check, it takes forever to get someone to pick up your credit card. Meanwhile everyone at the table is ready to go, but can't. The mood changes from a great night to, "what's taking so long". Why is this process such a struggle for Shula's? Hey Shula why not have your servers tag team the bill that way they do the meal. Duh!"

  • "They asked us to cut into the steak but not to taste it but when we did it taste it was medium not medium rare .... the same thing occurred last time we were there so after separate two visits we have learned that their medium rare is consistently closer to medium...its subtle but not bad enough to send it back...nevertheless disappointing when you are paying $50 per steak ...otherwise everything was superb"

  • "I have eaten at Shula's at several locations across the US. The beef here is the absolute best. Top notch!"

  • "It was our first visit to Shula's and have a lot of eating experiences at steak houses. The KC Sirloin was outstanding and paired well with the Stags Leap CabSav bottle of wine. Excellent service and a fine dining experience. I certainly will write a review when the food or service is lacking, accordingly people should know when the service and meal is exceptional."

  • "This was a business trip with senior associates. I bragged about the food. I must say this one was a bit of a letdown. The happy hour in the bar before dinner was good. However, the server did not know anything about the specials. The big disappointment was our waiter at dinner. Once he took our orders we never saw him again until he came with the check. When we asked to have it split it appeared to be an inconvenience. He came back and laid the receipts on the table and left again. The steaks where cooked great and the taste was good. I felt the portion size was a bit small for the price you pay. The whole thing was a bit of a letdown mostly because of service. Not what you would expect at this price point and for a Shula’s."

  • "Shula's Steak House located inside the Naples Hilton hotel serves the very best steaks. With attentive, personalized service and a noteable and varied wine list, my wife and I Highly recommend dining there. Shulas porterhouse and filet mignon (3 size choices) are/were exceptional!"

  • "Dined here only because I was staying in attached hotel. Cocktail was not made with the correct ingredients (ie cheap maraschino cherry instead of advertised black cherries). Although standing in au jus, the "Rare" prime rib was dry. The restaurant called the next day to ask how dinner was. I shared above and she hoped I'd give them another try. I hope she doesn't hold her breath, as I would never go back."

  • "Another outstanding dinner experience for six of us at Shula's.Special occasion for two of the women, and Shula's did not let us down. The wine was great, and the steaks and appetizers were superb. One of our dinner guests was asked to sign one of Shula's plates to be displayed in their cases with all the other dignitaries. Our guest help save Apollo 13 on reentry. It was a very enjoyable evening. Probably the best steakhouse in Naples."

  • "The shulas experience was the best dining experience that my wife and I had in years. Food was great and service could not have been better."

  • "We eat at Shula's every few weeks and it is always really good, but the last couple of times it has been exceptionally good. Both of our steaks were cooked perfectly and seasoned well and the lobster tail I had last night was one of the best I've had anywhere. Even the potato gratin was seasoned especially well. I felt the chocolate lava cake was dry but my boyfriend disagrees, so overall it was delicious and we had a wonderful night."

  • "Steaks, proudly displayed to us by the waiter, wrapped in cling film on a bed of wilting greenery, made it feel like Publix. The steaks we ordered were tasteless other than the seasoning. Sevice was a combination of over zealous, continual interruptions, and arrogant. Bill was outrageous and on a par with The Grill Room at the Ritz where we dined last month, although service and food were not on a par with Outback Steakhouse. If you are staying at the hotel do yourselves a favor and just cross the road for dinner."

  • "We were a little disappointed with Shula's. Considering the high prices, the service was not up to par. Two people in my party were not happy with their steaks. Better options in Naples at much lower pricing."

  • "Filet was overcooked and not flavored well. My dining partner also ordered filet and it was very tender and done perfectly. We both ordered the same - medium but mine was overdone. Also the server failed to mention you had to order special desserts in advance so we missed out on chocolate souffle. The creme brulee creamed spinach and asparagus were great. If I pay 240.00 for a meal for 2, I expect a lot more from a restaurant. The manager did ask if everything was good and I should have sent it back and complained, but I really didn't want to wait again for my meal and don't like sending food back. For that much money it should have been perfect the 1st time. Don't think we will return. Drinks were very good."

  • "We have never had a bad experience at Shula's. Always the best. We go to Shula's for special occasions - birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, etc. They've always made us feel as a special guest. The food is fantastic and the service is exemplary. We also enjoy the wine list. It makes for a special meeting."

  • "We went here for my husbands 50th birthday...I ask them if they could give us a special table for the occasion...well that didn't happen all they did was put a birthday card in the table! Food was nice but way overpriced!!! Some of the staff were a bit snooty!"
    Dined on 9/20/2014
  • "We visited Shulas with clients and spent $500 on a just so so meal. My steak wasn't prepared properly, the cost of the side dishes was outrageous and no sides are included in the meal. They don't even bring you any free bread or anything other than what you order. Now I see why you don't post a menu with any prices. I'd rather eat at Outback (where I've not eaten since college) before eating here again. The whole experience felt like a gouging and was not pleasant."

  • "Best bet for red meat in Naples. The steaks are truly outstanding and the lamb porterhouse comes two the the plate and is about 2 inches thick."

  • "We've eaten at many of the multi unit houses, .McCormick and Schmick's, Ditkas, Capital Grill, etc. By far, these were theost flavorful, tender, and delicious steaks we've ever had! Put one in Pittsburgh!!!"

  • "Great quality steaks cooked perfectly. Excellent service. They source their own steaks from their own ranches ( Black Angus). Cesar salad had great dressing. Molten lava cake is good too."

  • "Great food. If I arrive for at 5:30 reservation and sit in the dining room because I like to eat dinner earlier than most people, I should be able to qualify for Happy Hour. This is a bad rule that Happy Hour is only available in the bar area. I love to dine out on Wednesday and Friday please consider changing the Happy Hour rule to include the dining room before 6:00 PM, you will make a loyal customer happy."

  • "We chose this restaurant as a last treat before heading back to the uk. It is expensive. Nice wood lined restaurant. We ordered steaks. They were nice but a bit cold. The beans we ordered with then were cold and not nice. My sons steak was medium and while not bloody was very pink. When we questioned it the waitress said yes that is medium. Oh his Yorkshire pudding was cold too. Although they changed it maybe they should try for right first time."

  • "I been trying restaurants around town and this is really good, except the crab Mac and chees and trufell fries.....steaks and my soup was awesome, wines are a bit over price but what can you say you are dinning in Naples!!"

  • "The cow's would say "eat more chicken". But alas one comes to Shula's to eat steak. And great steak it is! Served by a friendly, competent staff in an upscale atmosphere. Not cheap but well worth the price! We will be back."
