A word from Shula's Steak House - Naples
The theme for Shula's Steak House is a virtual museum of the 1972 Miami Dolphins' 17-0 perfect season, the NFL's only unbeaten team. The décor includes pictures and game balls from the '72 season. The menus are hand painted on NFL footballs then personally hand signed by Coach Shula himself.
The restaurant's reputation has been built on serving the "biggest and the best", which includes Premium Black Angus Beef. The menu features generous portions, including a signature 48-ounce porterhouse steak.

Diner Reviews
  • "Food was very good as well as the presentation. The service was good but slow. Nice atmosphere. They can do away with the football etc. The championship was so long ago that it is dating the experience."

  • "We picked Shula's to take our friends out for their birthdays. They told us they are steak lovers and recommended we go to Fleming's. Convincing them to go to Shula's they were so pleasantly surprised at the entire dining experience they said they thought it was better than Fleming's and would come back to Shula's without hesitation."

  • "Everything was fine except the prices were ridiculous. It was actually laughable they were so crazy. The funniest was the 48 oz. steak for $84 plus everything else, and I mean everything else, was additional cost. Guess Shula's is out of my league."

  • "I took my wife here for her birthday. She had the Cowboy cut rib eye and I had the porterhouse. Both were served perfectly. While this location is a little pricy the meat and flavor were excellent. We split a salad which they said should handle two, but it was not very big. The baked potato was huge. The waiter was very courteous and friendly. I would only go here for a special occasion due to their prices."

  • "We were very disappointed in our service. Our waiter was not attentive to us nor did he pay any attention to our needs. Then midway through our meal we got another waiter. We were celebrating a birthday that was just blown off."

  • "Shulas' is the Best Steak House in Naples or anywhere we've been. The staff makes it's a great experience and Hats off to their chefs!!!! Gel the Chocolate Lava cake, and forget the calories!!!!!"

  • "Shula's was on our list of Naple's steak houses to try. Glad we did. Positives include great service, attractive atmosphere and romantic if you get the proper table. Negatives include overpriced a la carte menu and overrated steaks, portion controlled wine dispenser (major turnoff). For a Hall of Fame recognized sport-themed restaurant, I was taken aback by the mediocre quality of the grainy photos in the Mona Lisa frames and tacky B grade celebrity photos. Restaurant was half empty on an 'in season' Thursday night. Recommendations: Free pour the wine, toss the "football menu" to the sidelines, (Don's sig is illegible), have an incentive or theme to get locals to return. If u have promotions, I'm not aware. Give me a reason to come back."

  • "Wonderful birthday card; has homemade look. Large slice of 7-layer chocolate cake with a birthday candle. The cake was delicious. Terrific environment for special events."

  • "Food, service were terrific. First time at Shula's but it won't be the last."

  • "My first thought when friends recommended Shula's was "but it's a chain steakhouse". Well, that may be a fact but there was nothing "chain" about our dinner. Thankfully our friends knew what they were talking about. I am somewhat of a Steakhouse addict, dine in the best around the country, etc..., and would put Shula's up against any of them. Incredible staff, ambiance and food. By the way, the Molten Chocolate Lava Cake was ridiculously delicious. By far the best steak I had in Naples (and I had steak 4 out of 5 nights at some of the best restaurants in town). And on top of all of this we had a great night with friends!"

  • "From walking into the restaurant on arrival until leaving was a wonderful experience. Our server was first class (Eric) the food was exceptional. We even had had a call a few days later to make sure everything was to our satisfaction we would diffidently return to Shulas. ."

  • "I was there for a lunch meeting; the food and service were great."

  • "The food and atmosphere were great, as always. However, on this dining visit, our waiter had a sour attitude and left us with a bad 'taste' in our mouth for the overall experience. When four people order two large steaks, you would assume the waiter understands that the intent is to share and would, then, provide enough plates for all four guests. Guests shouldn't have to ask for plates and wait for their arrival as the meal grows cold. Most of the high end steak houses we visit will ask if you would like to have the larger steaks pre-sliced off the bone and then returned to the table. It would be most welcome if Shula's would offer this service to patrons as well. When asked, the waiter had sighs and attitude about having to do this."

  • "We were both very, very, pleased with our lunches. I raved about it to all my friends. This is my favorite eating place in Florida."

  • "Place is beautiful staff was great friendly helpful. Only problem we had was they told us to order certain deserts early which we did but order got misplaced so we had 2 teenage boys who actually wanted the desert which we had to take to go bc of missed order. So that was my only fault place is clean staff friendly food was excellent"

  • "I brought a couple that do not go to upscalr dining places. They were enthralled with the elegance. The service is smooth ---there when you need it but not intrusive. They notice when you need something without you asking. The food was prepared as we orderedThe staff was knowledgeable, polite and enjoyable."

  • "The food was excellent. My wife had the filet and I had the lobster and shrimp combo. My wife said it was one of the best steaks ever! My seafood was excellent. This place is expensive but worth it. Overall a real treat."

  • "Me and my wife went to celebrate our anniversary and although it is very pricey I really enjoyed the steaks and the side dishes as well as the proper way to serve liquor and wine. Everything was very upscale and the steak was well worth the price. The staff was exquisite and I wild definitely go again"

  • "We enjoy going to Shula's but as Naples year-round residents, we will never again dine here during season. The restaurant was overbooked, which ultimately led to lackluster service and a high level of noise. While our food was consistently flavorful, the dining ambiance was not at all enjoyable and the wait staff was friendly but not even close to being on top of their game."

  • "I didn't like Shula's three years ago, thought I would give it a second try! My mistake! The restaurant is much to do about nothing and it's way to expensive! There are tooooo many great places in Naples!"

  • "Awesome food, we'll definitely go back but they need more wait staff!"

  • "Very nice restaurant, but the food was far below expectations. Ordered the top of the line filet in the 8 and 12 oz size. Delivered to table over cooked and grainy!! Ruth Chris wins going away!!"

  • "Everyone had a different steak from filet Mignon to a 22 ounce steak. All were cooked perfectly and extremely delicious. We ended our meal with a Chocolate lava cake which was unbelievable. Service was outstanding! Definitely recommend!"

  • "We anticipated high quality food, attentive staff and service. Started off well, however service slowed and food was late and just warm. We're still waiting for bread."

  • "Dining at Shula's was a great event. Each person in our group of 4 was pleased with his or her steak. Two of us had to send ours back to have it done a little more (I like mine pink, no more, no less, and most restaurants have a hard time with that)...when the steak was returned to me it was NOT overdone...it was perfect. That alone was quite a tribute to the kitchen...same with my friend. The sides were tasty (creamed spinach, green beans, sauteed spinach) and the dessert ordered was excellent, but the main draw, the steaks (we had strips and rib eyes) were outstanding. It's not cheap, but it's worth it. That's where we'll go when we want another steak dinner in Naples."

  • "I went here in advance of an important family birthday dinner to be sure that certain details were set up. I decided to have lunch as well. I had the "LUNCH SPECIAL" which contains nsisted of a tiny filet mignon with choice of potatoes. The special was $19.99. Since I decided to have a glass of wine & key lime pie for dessert, the bill came to $48. Now, I am not stingy but$50+ for LUNCH?? The filet was good but not "melt in your mouth" and a bit overdone for medium/rare. It is a beautiful setting (especially for those of us who were Miami Dolphins fans in the 1970s) and the service was superb. I recommend it for a very special event....especially if money is not an issue!"

  • "great steaks, great wine selection, great cocktails, great sides, great desserts. "Mid-town" location is great - no fighting for parking. Service is excellent, with the old-school team approach, so you're consistently yet discreetly well-attended. Naples restaurants come and go. Shula's is not the flavor of the week, but it is consistently excellent."

  • ". My lobster bisque was quite good and I particularly liked the table side addition of a little sherry. My wife's wedge salad was tasty and the lettuce fresh and crunchy. The bread smelled great but we wanted to save room for the steaks and didn't get to enjoy it until the next day. I quickly decided on the bone in cowboy ribeye with a blue cheese crust. Great flavour, great piece of meat, perfectly done. Just excellent! My wife had the lamb porterhouse which was essentially a really thick lamb chop- 2 of them. Excellent flavour, great portions, and great leftovers the next day. No room for dessert, maybe next time!"

  • "This place tries to be a great steakhouse, on par with Morton's and Ruth's Chris. It does not make."

  • "Chocolate souffé was not as good as usual, much smaller, previously was good for at least 4 persons, now not quite enough for 2, dryer and no melted chocolate coulis inside. May be it is because of the valentine day dinner very busy. because usually it was always more than expected. But we still love this place."

  • "Very cozy family friendly restaurant. Waitress and waiters were friendly and knowledgeable. Wine list impressive. The chianti and cabernet were excellent. Wedge salad was fresh and dressing was delicious. Cowboy ribeye was prepared to a perfect medium. Very flavorfull and tender. The 12oz filet migon was ordered rare with no butter - asked just for seasoning and when cut open, it had been prepared medium, not rare. 2nd filet migon came out rare with no outside browning or crust. Was disappointed with this steak because there was absolutely NO seasoning or browning on it and therefore, no flavor at all! Chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream was rich and decadent. Too small portion of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream."
