The music was great the service was also great. Can't wait to dine at Shrine again in the Future!5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food!We had a TravelZoo deal for drinks and a meal for Shrine. We went on a Thursday evening at 6:00 and the place was empty. The hostess wasn't the friendliest, but our waitress was very nice. We had the lobster rangoons as an appetizer and they were amazing. I had two maki rolls which were both very good andybsister had the beef lo mein which she raved about. For dessert we had fried ice cream which was very good and the banana spring rolls which were okay at best. Maybe on the weekend it would have been a better crowd and would have added to our experience. If I'm ever at the casino, I would definitely consider Shrine again.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMFabulous sushi!Shrine is fabulous! My husband and I went for a date-night dinner. We got a couple of the specialty martinis to start, followed by the beef skewers and a lobster roll for starters. The beef was so tender, and the lobster roll was fabulous 8 rolls full of huge chucks of lobster! For our main dinner, we ordered the deluxe sushi platter. The platter did not disappoint with extremely fresh fish and a lot of it. It was perfect for two people who love sushi! The service was really great as well. Our waitress was very attentive and kept our water glasses full and checked several times check if we needed anything. The atmosphere is very romantic, since the dance club/lounge hadn't gotten busy yet. It is quite a bit pricey but definitely worth it!5/2/2013 12:00:00 AMBest food and nightclub in the areaThe food and service was perfect as always!
The manger did a fantastic job explaining the menu and specials4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMThe wine selection was extensiveThe wine selection was extensive but we chose the 64 oz scorpion bowl, while very fruity and delicious but it didn't have enough liquor taste or kick.
The mongolian beef dinner was so delicious and the other dishes we had were perfect in flavor, creativity and portions, actually healthily portioned. Thanks! I thought the decorations and furniture were boring, all you could see was red fixtures for miles, though the chair and tableware were good. Open kitchen was nice and we had a nook type seat that was kind of blocking the light from the kitchen but it made it quiet. You can't have everything.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent food and ambienceExcellent food and ambience a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Definitely would eat there again if in the area.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat serviceA few of us had dinner there before a concert and told the waitress of our timeframe. He was very attentive and help us by bringing our orders quickly and checking on us often.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMBest Meal Ever at Foxwoods!Great cocktails! The mai-tai was a great adult version, not overly sweet like you usually get at ordinary chinese restaurants. We focused on the seafood. The tuna tartar was particularly awesome with crunchy wantons & noodles in a spicy soy sauce. The lobster rangoons were also very tasty. Entrees included a delicious Singapore street noodles, which were somewhat similar to a spicy pad thai, with lots of shrimp, scallops, and pork. My partner had the miso glazed sea bass on coconut rice, which was delicious, especially when we kicked the spice up a notch by adding some wasabi. Fried ice cream for dessert, subtly flavored with star anise and green tea, was a nice ending to a fabulous dinner.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMThe waitress was incrediblyThe waitress was incredibly attentive and friendly. She went out of her way to serve us and even made a drink not on the menu. The portions were very large and delicious. The sushi rolls were well priced and creative. I would return again.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AM
