Shor - ClearwaterBest Dinner in Clearwater BeachThe best place to eat at Clearwater Beach by far. The wait time is never bad, they have the best selection for a nice dinner and it's not noisy. They have an outdoor patio area if you prefer, but everything is 2 stories up from the busy beach area. One of us had the whole cooked red snapper, one had the surf & turf, one had the salmon. All were delicious. No dessert, just coffee which was great too.
Absolutely no complaints about the food, it was awesome. Service was attentive and pretty great too. A great dinner experience overall. Calamari is some of the most tender we have had...my kids now love calamari. Don't miss the goat cheese truffle fries. The views to the ocean are terrific and the service is personal, professional, and most importantly, they really took care of the special requests from the kids on vacation. Because of heavy traffic we were 1/2 late but it was not a problem. Wide variety of food choices-raw bar, salads, carving station and hot foods plus traditional breakfast fare. The view was great for sunset, especially in the back room. Food was amazing; the blackened group was fresh and portions were just enough. We also had the lobster macaroni, which was rich, but had generous portions for lobster.
Great atmosphere, great food, great service. Our server Dan was amazing. He was attentive and spent as much time at our table as we wanted him to. His personality was great, and he was very patient when my coworker asked a lot of questions about the food prep due to her allergies. All of the food was amazing, and the wine recommendations made my Dan were top notch as well.2/26/2013 12:00:00 AMThis restaurant was amazing.This restaurant was amazing. All the food was perfection. We had the goat cheese fries, calamari, diver scallops with pureed cauliflower, and strawberry shortcake. I truly believe I got the best items on the menu because I don't know how they could have made anything that tasted better than those things.
