Since we were there on a Monday night it wasn't crowded or noisy and we were seated very promptly. The food and service were both excellent. A special appetizer suggested by our waiter, "Grouper Bites," was fun and delicious. Hopefully they make that a permanent addition to the menu. While the atmosphere seemed a little barren and cold, I think that feeling was exaggerated by the fact there were not many people dining on a Monday night. We will definitely go back for the food and service and if we return on a weekend night we will see if the mood is heightened with more diners.

Asparagus soup with crab and leeks was best I've ever tasted. Tables were well spaced, not crowded, though still a little noisy. Beautiful view of Gulf beach and sunset. Sun shades on windows eliminated glare and heat, and waiter raised them at perfect time to watch sun set.

We had an amazing time. The food was good...my snapper was a little over done but very tasty. The service was great from the hostess to the wait staff. I would highly recommend outdoor seating if its not too hot. The breeze off of the ocean and the view were amazing. We will definitely go back.

The Food was great, we had lunch on our 1st Day in and Dinner for my wife’s Birthday, she could not decide on lobster of Filet, so they offered her a Surf and Turf even though it was not on their menu. The Restaurant was Great; We would have to give the Bar 10 Stars all around. Best Service and Great Drinks! We will be coming back…

For the price, I had higher expectations of Shor. The service was fine, but the portions were small, and overpriced. The ambiance was lacking as well. I felt like I was eating in a cafeteria. Oh well. For the money, I think there are just better places to dine.

    OpenTable Diner Since 2011

Unfortunately, the experience was not worth the price. For the price, I expect quality service, luxurious atmosphere and quality food. At most, the food was good. However, the room temperature was so hot that I was unable to fully enjoy my meal. Quality service and a luxurious atmosphere were severely lacking.

Not up to Hyatt standards, but apparently serves as the restaurant for "everything". A disturbing point was the cook staff calling out orders constantly (and the diners could hear). Food, however was very good.

The view outside on the patio was beautiful! It was nice and private, and quiet...very romantic. Eating there made me feel as though I was on vacation. We loved the hotel, the service, the decor. Very tropical, relaxing and upscale! Ohh, and the food was superb!!! I suggest the chicken sandwhich for lunch...really, really, really good! I WILL go back very soon! Jenna Schuh Tampa, FL

Great view of Clearwater Beach- beautiful sunset! The service was outstanding! James was a great server who had excellent knowledge of the menu and was always on top of filling our glasses! The food was mediocre. MANY fried appetizers- unless you wanted a salad. The fish was good, but the sauce or whatever was on top of the fish was very oily. The entree's were not very appetizing. Excellent desert selection- the key lime pie was to die for! If the food matched the service, it would be perfect.

I went there for Easter dinner. My reservation could not be found but I was seated right away, anyway as they were not busy. The turkey and ham were somewhat dried out. I don't enjoy peel and eat shrimp, they should be cleaned for the patron. The salad area was pretty good with figs and good cheeses. I don't remember seeing any olive oil for the salad which would be good for weight /health conscience eaters. The desserts were very good. Overall, it was good but not great and for the price it could have been better.

    OpenTable Diner Since 2008
    Dined on 4/3/2010
I would not go back. The prices were average for a fine dining experience but it was NOT fine dining. No tablecloths, inexperienced waiters, small portions, no dress code and the drinks at $15.00 each were about 1/4 of what they should have been. One member in our party order the drink 3 times and each time it was a totally different drink. Great view, lousy experience.

OUr food was good. The ambiance is austere and almost sterile. Waiter did a good job but talked too much about being a meat eater from Ohio and not knowing seafood. Will go again but it is not a restaurant I can't wait to revisit. For sunsets I think the ambiance at Caretta is nicer and outside still prefer the Palm Pavilion.

Amazing view of the Clearwater Beach. Great interior design! Great food, but for the price the portions could be larger. Amazing bread! Must pay for parking. They don’t have any special drinks such as smoothies. Price per person ends up being around $30. This is the perfect place for a sunset dinner! We will be back soon! King Crab legs would be the perfect addition to the menu at an affordable price.

Valet parking cost $18.00 and since we werre dining only there should be a rebate for at least half of this amount. Disney doesn't even charge this amount to park all day or do other restaurants. In order to compete at the beach you need to address this issue. We will not be back until it is corrected.
