Had dinner there later in the evening while staying at the hotel. There was no host/hostess on duty, so I went to the bar, and was seated. Although there were only three or four other occupied tables, the service was slow. My waiter was gracious and apologetic. The food, when it came, was tasty and worth the money.

My husband and I had the steak and pork chop. It was very good. Although I did find a fruit fly in my margarita. The waiter apologized and made a new one. I wish the pond was lit up at night. But overall a nice place.

Arrived with a restaurant.com coupon. It was lost between ordering and finishing. We were allowed the amount of the certificate regardless. We were a romantic party of two who had to ask for the oil candle to be lit on our table. Then a large party of OMG WHATEVER 20-something females (at least 6) were seated next to us and it was impossible to continue our meaningful conversation. There was a miscommunication; we both asked for cedar planked but one order was translated as pan seared. It was delicious regardless but it would have been nice to have had the order related back word-for-word in order to make sure. Therefore, we decided not to order dessert so that would not be misinterpreted.

Excellent food. We both had the cedar planked salmon which was excellent. Drinks way too expensive. We both had to send them back, as they were not made correctly. Eventually got them right. Other than that it was a nice quiet romantic dinner for my birthday with a nice view of the lake and fountain.

We took a family group (ages 25 - 85) here on mothers day, and there was something for everyone. None of us tried any of the steaks, but all liked the various seafood choices. Very attentive service (especially since we were there on the early side and there were few others in the place).

Definitely a hotel restaurant with the quality of such. I ordered their Mojito in lieu of wine, and I definitely regret that. I don't know if there was any rum in it because it just tasted like simple syrup and the mint was not even muddled. I did pull a piece of it out to try and the mint was not fresh. I ordered the Ahi* Tuna, pan-seared. I don't think they know what that means because it came out lukewarm and cold in the center. Also should note that when my plate came out, it looked like prison food. Even the baked potato wasn't cooked properly. Thankfully we had a gift certificate because it was not worth what it was priced at. *Pretty certain it was not ahi since it was not the beautiful red color

    Dined on 2/14/2014
We were seated quickly with no wait time. The waiter seemed very overwhelmed and was not attentive as needed. I ordered from the Valentine Day "special menu" but it fell short of my expectation. The waiter never explained to me that I ordered pasta until my dish was ready to be served. He originally explained to me that it was a chicken dish w/ spinach. My husband and two others dining with us sent there steaks back to be cooked "well done "as requested when ordering. We'll, my husband steak came back still very pink in the middle and he refused to send it back,it went to waste. He had lost his appetitte for it. We had to ask for the complimentary champagne and dessert the waiter never offered it.

We made New Years reservations for 10. We were seated and drink orders were taken. That was the last thing that went right. Half the drinks were served and our waiter disappeared. One of us got up to find a waiter who brought the rest of the drinks and then disappeared again. This was a recurring theme all evening. Nothing improved despite our complaints to staff. We were seated at 7PM and didn't get our tepid food until 9PM. We had an 8PM event at the hotel. Some of us chose the special 5 course dinner. Big mistake! We finally left at 9:45 and some still hadn't been served everything we paid for. The gratuity was already added but totally undeserved. A manager never checked on us. Choosing Shiraz was my idea - turned out to be a bad idea

On New Year's Eve, both of our meals were very good, and the ambience was unexpectedly impressive. We had made no plans before the day of, and did not want to travel in the middle of a snow storm. The service started out very attentive, but really drop off as more people came in to the restaurant. It appeared that they had minimal bussing staff on duty. All parts of the meal were of high quality.

The staff at Shiraz was very nice. We made reservations for 11am and when we got there we were surprised that we were the only 4 people there....but found out we beat the rush for 12....Which was fine by us. We needed some quiet time--and well deserved. Our view was beautiful with the fountains and changing autumn colors. As usual we as a family enjoyed the breakfast foods, tried the other foods such as fish, chicken, beef and salad. Overall the experience and being with my family was great but I guess we were expecting more of a variety for the price.

This was the first time I had been to this restaurant. At first they sat us in what seemed like part of the entry way. We asked for a different table and they obliged, but it wasn't much better than the first. They said all the other tables were reserved for later times.....the food was very good, the service was fine, but the whole dining room seating is very unusual and not very inviting. Sorry to say I wouldn't go back there again.

We would never have thought of looking for a restaurant in a resort complex unless we were staying there. Fortunately, friends of ours had received a gift certificate for Shiraz and invited us to join them. Even though we were not seated right by the windows, we enjoyed a beautiful view of the water, and the ambience was lovely. The food was excellent from the flat bread appetizer to the salad, seafood chowder, and petite filet. Service was outstanding. Shiraz is a great place for a special occasion, but I wouldn't wait for one to try it.

I live 1 mile from Shiraz but only tried it because a was staying over night at the Hilton. I was there on a Saturday from 7:30-9:15. It was not very crowded and that's a shame. The service was perfectly paced. The setting was very nice and transitioned well from dusk to dark. The food was excellent. The presentation showed care was taken with each dish but it was not over the top. This place is a hidden gem that deserves more attention. I will be back!

We went there during our night stay at Indian Lakes Hilton.i had the flat iron steak with mushrooms added. Wow !! The steak was cooked perfectly as ordered.it had at least 10 slices. The mushrooms were so juicy and there were too many to finish. The rice was very good too. My husband had the brown sugar pork chops and they were amazing. The server was very attentive. This is in a Hilton resort and the restaurant building is a bit dated but kept up fairly well and very clean. Windows overlook two ponds but only one fountain was working and that pond had considerable algae which did not enhance the view. The birds and ducks were active though and made it nice. The service was good and the food was the best part. I would go back just for the food.

I've lived in this area for 15 years and always wanted to go to Shiraz because it looked so beautiful at night as I drove passed. Finally made a reservation for my mom's 73rd birthday and was completely satisfied with my visit. The food was phenomenal, the service was great and they made me a fantastic Sangria even though it wasn't on the menu. Vicky, our server was so sweet! She came out with a plate that had Happy Birthday written in chocolate with a huge peice of Tiramisu, which by the way, was delicious. My whole experience overall was more than I expected and my only regret was not coming here sooner!

The service was excellent. Jeff was friendly, knowledgable, professional and attentive. The food was very good but the menu was very small and offered very few pasta items. I had the squash ravioli and it was delicious. The tiramisu, however, tasted store bought and un-authentic. Too creamy, rich and sweet. The restaurant itself is situated on water - the pond was very nice but can be better kept up. The restaurant carpeting, wall color and decor pulled away from the nice chairs and table set ups, making it feel outdated and suited for an "older" crowd. Overall it was nice but can defnitely be improved upon. We were one of maybe two other tables there so we did not get to witness it in a busy, bustling situation.
