  • "Definitely a hotel restaurant with the quality of such. I ordered their Mojito in lieu of wine, and I definitely regret that. I don't know if there was any rum in it because it just tasted like simple syrup and the mint was not even muddled. I did pull a piece of it out to try and the mint was not fresh. I ordered the Ahi* Tuna, pan-seared. I don't think they know what that means because it came out lukewarm and cold in the center. Also should note that when my plate came out, it looked like prison food. Even the baked potato wasn't cooked properly. Thankfully we had a gift certificate because it was not worth what it was priced at. *Pretty certain it was not ahi since it was not the beautiful red color"

  • "We were seated quickly with no wait time. The waiter seemed very overwhelmed and was not attentive as needed. I ordered from the Valentine Day "special menu" but it fell short of my expectation. The waiter never explained to me that I ordered pasta until my dish was ready to be served. He originally explained to me that it was a chicken dish w/ spinach. My husband and two others dining with us sent there steaks back to be cooked "well done "as requested when ordering. We'll, my husband steak came back still very pink in the middle and he refused to send it back,it went to waste. He had lost his appetitte for it. We had to ask for the complimentary champagne and dessert the waiter never offered it."

  • "On New Year's Eve, both of our meals were very good, and the ambience was unexpectedly impressive. We had made no plans before the day of, and did not want to travel in the middle of a snow storm. The service started out very attentive, but really drop off as more people came in to the restaurant. It appeared that they had minimal bussing staff on duty. All parts of the meal were of high quality."

  • "As usual, great food. However, services was very, very slow on New Year's Eve. But this was very unusual, based on our other dining experiences. So don't let this experience deter you. We each had a different cut of steak, and both we're delish."

  • "I should start by saying we decided to go here because the weather was awful and did not want to drive far. The food was fine and our waiter was friendly, but the place felt dated and empty. Also, there was loud music coming from the bar below and an event across the hall."

  • "We made New Years reservations for 10. We were seated and drink orders were taken. That was the last thing that went right. Half the drinks were served and our waiter disappeared. One of us got up to find a waiter who brought the rest of the drinks and then disappeared again. This was a recurring theme all evening. Nothing improved despite our complaints to staff. We were seated at 7PM and didn't get our tepid food until 9PM. We had an 8PM event at the hotel. Some of us chose the special 5 course dinner. Big mistake! We finally left at 9:45 and some still hadn't been served everything we paid for. The gratuity was already added but totally undeserved. A manager never checked on us. Choosing Shiraz was my idea - turned out to be a bad idea"

  • "Quiet atmosphere, lovely view, very attentive staff for the brunch. Omelet station had great ingredient choices. The carving station and pasta station were favorites. Tried a little of most items offered and we were not disappointed. Would recommend this restaurant for brunch and plan to try their steaks and seafood in the near future."

  • "This was the first time I had been to this restaurant. At first they sat us in what seemed like part of the entry way. We asked for a different table and they obliged, but it wasn't much better than the first. They said all the other tables were reserved for later times.....the food was very good, the service was fine, but the whole dining room seating is very unusual and not very inviting. Sorry to say I wouldn't go back there again."

  • "The staff at Shiraz was very nice. We made reservations for 11am and when we got there we were surprised that we were the only 4 people there....but found out we beat the rush for 12....Which was fine by us. We needed some quiet time--and well deserved. Our view was beautiful with the fountains and changing autumn colors. As usual we as a family enjoyed the breakfast foods, tried the other foods such as fish, chicken, beef and salad. Overall the experience and being with my family was great but I guess we were expecting more of a variety for the price."

  • "We had a very special evening. The ambiance, the fabulous view, service (excellent suggestions) and the short ribs and crab cake appetizer were excellent. The hotel has much to offer.....the outdoor music, beautiful waterfalls and ponds inside and outside, the Cave Bar and of course if you were to spend an overnight (which we didn't do) they have a gorgeous swimming pool, golf, etc."
