ShintoHibachi does not disappointShinto's did a great job of accomodating our group at the Hibachi table as well as a quiet table later in the evening for drinks. Food was tasty as always with most of us ordering the steak and shrimp and one member of our party ordering the scallops which were jumbo and succulent. We came across a coupon in the mail, and decided to try Shinto. Best decision ever. We were seated right away. Prices were very reasonable, and the food was delicious! So many great deals (coupons, text promotions, Hibachi Tuesday).

This time, we sat on the other side which is the regular tables with servers and you can order sushi and Teriyaki off the menu. This experience was just as enjoyable and maybe a bit quieter especially when there's just the 2 of us. In any case, good food and great sushi choices made our experience enjoyable. The sushi rolls were coming out of the kitchen freshly made and full of flavor. On days when there's specials like 1/2 price appetizers the kitchen it rock'n and even though there may be a little wait - the chefs are in full swing and it's always fun to see just how much sushi other tables are consuming!6/5/2013 12:00:00 AMNever disappointsShinto has been a favorite of ours for quite some time. The rolls are creative and tasty and our servers are always so knowledgeable. They are busy and it's always energetic in here and the bar adds a little bit of flare to an otherwise hidden strip mall sushi house. This occassion it took about an hour after we were seated for the hibachi chef to come to our table. I am not sure if they were under staffed at the time but made for a very long meal. For a Sunday early evening, this place was a bit empty to start off with and we felt a little isolated, but the crowd eventually picked up with lively chatter. Our waitress was very attentive and our chef Chris was right on the money being professional and re-cleaning the grill before starting which was appreciated given that there's always fried rice bits or something else flying around from other animated chefs. Our meals were cooked perfectly given that our steaks ranged from medium to well and the shrimps seared to perfection.
