This restaurant did not disappoint. We were pleasantly surprised by how much nicer the ambiance was, over the web site, which does not do it justice! I can't say enough good things about the service and the food. Our corner table was great; the decor is stunning; the sushi and desserts delicious; and the service impeccable! Request the chef's "tasting menu." It is a BARGAIN and the multi-course offerings will fill you up with all sorts of deliciousness. Our sever, Charle, was absolutely exceptional! His recommendations were spot on, especially the Iberico Pork. The foie gras and wagyu gyoza, such a good unique flavor. Offering both hot and cold selections, the food was fantastic and innovative. The sushi was fresh and the non-sushi items were delicious.The ambience is hip and energetic. Service was pretty good. Fish was very fresh. Warm shared plates were great with the exception of the sauce on the softshell crab which had too much vinegar in it. As with most Vegas restaurants be careful of the upsell - waiters will always try to refer you to a wine, beer or sushi choice that is in the high end. Also - the plates are not big. Overpriced.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMBest Place To Eat In VegasI was very happy with the choice of Shibuya, the staff was amazing, we did not lift a finger and we were waited on like we owned the place. Our waiter was so knowledgeable about the wine and beer list and his recommendations about the menu was spot on. I would highly recommend the Miso Crusted Black Cod, it was the best I have ever had.
